Elektrische Rollos üblicher Bauart weisen im allgemeinen eine Tuchwelle auf, die
über einen direkten oder indirekten Antrieb in Rotation versetzt wird. Durch
Rechts- bzw. Linksdrehung wird dabei das Rollomaterial auf der Tuchwelle auf- bzw. abgewickelt. Eine Falleiste mit definiertem Gewicht, die am freien
Rolloende angebracht ist, bewirkt durch Zug in Richtung Schwerkraft das
faltenfreie Auf- und Abwickeln des Rollomaterials. Bedingt durch das begrenzte Gewicht der Falleiste, die konstruktiven Möglichkeiten der RoUomaterialfuhrung
und die mechanischen Eigenschaften des Rollomateriales selbst ist die
Schließgeschwindigkeit von Rollos stets relativ gering, d.h., die Antriebsdrehzahl
der Tuchwelle ist gering. Beim Öffnen von elektrischen Rollos ändert sich am
Antrieb lediglich die Drehrichtung, die Antriebsdrehzahl bleibt konstant, d.h.,
