The invention relates to an agricultural winding device according to the features of the preamble of claim 1, for winding and unwinding nonwoven webs, usually 4 to 5 meters wide, which serve to cover compost heaps, the length of which is large in comparison to the width, i.e. at least 5 times the width, and which are thus protected against the penetration of rainwater and against drying out.

When creating, moving and clearing long compost heaps, there is the IS disadvantage that the necessary fleece covering strips have to be put in place after setting up, removed before clearing and removed and put back in place every time the heap is moved, which is sometimes daily. These operations are very labor-intensive and time-consuming.

DE-OS 41 33 706 (Buck) concerns a device that can be moved alongside a tractor with a winding drum and guide rollers for unwinding and winding up covering foil for hay, which moves over the swath during processing and has an appropriate ground clearance for this purpose. The reasonable effort for treating a swath is in no way justified for spreading a fleece sheet on a compost heap, where the contamination and water condensation problems outlined in this publication do not occur at all. In addition, such a machine is difficult to maneuver or operate together with a compost turning machine due to its size.

FR-PS 2 667 759 (SARL) also describes a machine for unwinding and rewinding film or fabric which is applied to agricultural crops.

The machine is equipped with a wrapping drum that is driven on both sides by drum wheels and a friction gear, which in turn is driven by an electric or pneumatic motor. The machine and the towing vehicle drive over the crops to be covered and the machine lays down the film.

In addition, a device for the drum is described with which it can be removed and divided in order to wind up or remove reels of material.

The object of the invention is _also to provide a device carried by a towing vehicle or a composting machine with which the removal and laying of fleece webs in compost heaps is improved and which does not hinder road travel or bending between the compost heaps.

This object is achieved in a machine according to the preamble of claim 1 with its characterizing features. The subclaims relate to particularly advantageous embodiments of the invention.

By aligning the winding shaft in working positions across the length of the compost heap and at a distance above it and the fleece sheet used for covering, which must be wound up and unwound, the required work steps are greatly simplified, as during winding up the fleece sheet is only placed on the winding shaft and then wound up mechanically, and during unwinding the fleece sheet is first placed a short distance on the heap by hand and then laid out mechanically on the heap.

In addition, moving the winding shaft from the working position to a transport position by simply swiveling it is very advantageous because of the quick changeover option.

It is important that the winding shaft can be moved easily from the working position to the transport position, where it is not hindered during road travel and can be moved back again.

The arrangement can be constructed relatively easily if the winding shaft is supported on one side and can extend freely over the compost heap, thereby eliminating the weight of a support bracket for the winding shaft and for an external bearing of the winding shaft at its other end.

The Wiokelwell© is particularly easy to store thanks to the pivoting mounting of its bearing part on the support frame.

A stable bearing of the winding shaft is achieved by the fact that it is mounted in a bearing part at both ends, while this spans the width of the support frame, whereby the drive motor is flanged to the free end of the bearing part and is connected directly to the end of the winding shaft via a coupling.

The bearing part together with the winding shaft is formed with a simple swivel bearing, consisting of a swivel axis and two bearing plates lying on top of one another and rotatable relative to one another, whereby the swivel axis can be attached to the bearing part either vertically or horizontally.

One of the bearing plates is firmly attached to this swivel axis, while the counter bearing plate on the side support is attached at the top or side, depending on the orientation of the swivel axis, and is provided with a guide hole through which the swivel axis passes, the second guide bearing of which, particularly in the case of a vertical arrangement, can be arranged at a sufficiently large distance from the counter bearing plate in the side support in order to be able to better support the significant forces during the working process of the winding shaft.

Furthermore, these forces are absorbed by the bearing part on the central upright of the supporting part of the support frame via a holder for the bearing part and a latch with which the winding shaft is fixed during the work process.

In the transport position, in which the winding shaft is aligned in the direction of travel, it is secured by a lock on the compost turning machine or the bearing part is locked to the side support.

If the winding shaft is pivoted upwards about a horizontally arranged pivot axis in the transport position, it is fixed in this position with the bearing part by a latch on the side support of the support frame.

In order to shorten the V-shaft for the transport position and to bring it to the required length of more than four to five meters for the working position, it is advantageously designed as a telescopic tube, with the inner bore and the outer tube being guided together by balls running in bushings, which make it easier to push the inner tube in and out, whereby pins or recesses on the bushings can also be used instead of the balls with essentially the same effect.

Eternit To ensure that the fleece web cannot go beyond the lateral limit of the winding shaft when winding, plates are attached on both sides, one of which is attached to the outer tube at the bearing part and the other to the outer end of the inner tube.

To compensate for the significant weight of the winding shaft with the wound fleece web, which can cause the vehicle to sink slightly into the ground on the side of the winding shaft, and to prevent the web from running off the v/jokel shaft when rolling up, it is advantageous to arrange the winding shaft with the longitudinal axis rising outwards and with a slight angle of inclination.

For the drive, it is important that the hydraulic pressure or the flow rate of the hydraulic oil for the drive motor can be limited and that either the level of the pressure or the maximum flow rate can be changed so that the drive of the winding shaft can be adapted to the travel of the tractor and just enough tension is exerted on the fleece web so that it can be wound up largely smoothly, and vice versa, so that the fleece can be placed on the compost heap without significant creasing during the travel of the tractor.

A wrapping device is attached to the rear of a compost turning machine J, as shown in the drawing.

The support frame 2 of the winding device consists of a lower, forward-facing fastening part 9 with two forward-leading stalks, which are connected by a cross brace and are fastened to the frame 20 of the compost turning machine 1 with several screw connections 44 and of an upward-facing support part 10, which creates the working height for a winding shaft 3, which is mounted on it.

The upright support part 10 of the support frame 2 consists of a side support 12 which supports the winding shaft 3 and of a bold support H ₅ which is connected to the side support 12 via a cross brace 13 and supported by a brace 14 on the fastening part 9.

In a first embodiment of the invention, the bearing part 15 is pivotably mounted about a vertically arranged pivot axis 25 of a pivot bearing 16 on the side support 12, so that the bearing part 15 together with the winding shaft 3 can be moved between a working position 5, in which the

Winding shaft 3 at a distance above a compost heap 46 extends transversely to the direction of travel 7 of the towing vehicle and can be swung back and forth in a transport position 4 in which the winding shaft 3 is aligned in the direction of travel 7 and does not protrude beyond the side border of the compost transfer machine.

The bearing part 15 is secured together with the winding shaft 3 in the working position S with a latch 27 on the central post 11 after the bearing part 15 has been pivoted into a receptacle 43 of the central post 11.

In the transporting system 4, the winding shaft 3 is locked with a latch (C) to the compost turning machine i or the bearing part 15 is locked with the locking device 28 to the side member 12.

The winding shaft 3 is mounted with its longitudinal axis 37 from the inside to the outside, at a slight angle of inclination 38, in the bearing part 15, so that a stronger sinking of the compost turning axe 1 is compensated by one-sided loading and furthermore the running down of the fleece web 45 when rolled up is suppressed.

In another embodiment of the invention, the bearing part 15 is mounted on the side support 12 behind it and the pivot axis 25 of the pivot bearing 16 is arranged horizontally aligned in the direction of travel 7.

The bearing part 15 can be pivoted with the winding shaft 3 around the pivot bearing 16 between the working position 5, in which the winding shaft 3 is aligned at a right angle B to the direction of travel; 7, and the transport position 4 in which it is directed upwards.

In the working position 5, the bearing part 15 is inserted into a receptacle 43 of the central upright 11 and secured there with a latch 27. In the transport position 4, the bearing part 15 is locked with a latch device 28 on the side upright 12.

The winding shaft 3 consists of an outer bore 29 which is mounted in bearings 19, 19' at the winding shaft end 17 and at the free end 18 of the bearing part 15, with a shaft 47 being inserted into the outer tube 29 and being connected via a coupling 21 to the shaft of the drive motor 8 which is flanged to the free end 18 of the bearing part.

An inner tube 30 is inserted telescopically into the outer tube 29 of the winding shaft 3 and is guided longitudinally by guides 31, 31, which consist of bushings 29, 29' and of which one is attached to the inner end 33 of the inner tube 30 and the other to the outer end 34 of the outer tube 29.

These bushings 29, 29' are provided with holes distributed regularly around their circumference, in which balls 35, e.g. six in Fig. 9, are inserted, with which the inner tube 30 is guided in a longitudinally displaceable manner in the outer tube 29.

The pivot bearing 16 shown in Fig. 6 with the pivot axis 25 in a vertical orientation consists of this pivot axis 25 itself, which is welded into the bearing part 15 and of a bearing plate 22 fastened to this pivot axis, which converges with a counter bearing plate 23, which is fastened to the side support 12 and which has a guide hole 24 for the pivot axis 25. 25

At a distance from the guide bore 24, a guide bearing 26 is inserted in the support 12, in which the pivot axis 25 is mounted.

The drive motor 8 of the winding shaft 3 is connected to a hydraulic supply line 39 and a hydraulic return line 4Ci, which can be connected to the tractor hydraulics of the towing vehicle.

To coordinate the winding speed of the winding shaft 3 and the tension exerted on the fleece web with the driving speed of the towing vehicle, the two hydraulic lines 39 and 40 are parallel to the

Claims (11)

Agricultural winding device for winding and unwinding cover fleece from compost heaps, in particular for attachment, preferably at the rear, of a towed compost turning machine or for rear or front attachment to agricultural tractors, in particular to the three-point linkage of a tractor, whereby the agricultural winding device has a winding drum mounted on a support frame, which can be driven in both directions of rotation by a hydraulic or electric drive motor, the length of which essentially corresponds to the width of the web to be wound, characterized in that a winding shaft (3) is mounted as the winding drum on the support frame (2) of the winding device, which can be rotated between a transport position (4) in which the winding shaft (3) essentially does not protrude beyond the compost turning machine (1) or the tractor, at least laterally, and a working position (5) in which the winding shaft (3) is essentially at a right angle (6) is aligned with the direction of travel (7) of the towing vehicle and is arranged above the Kbmpost rental (46), can be moved back and forth and can be fixed at least in each of the end positions. 2. Agricultural wrapping device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the winding shaft (3) on the support frame (2), mounted with a bearing part (1$) on a swivel loader (16), can be pivoted between the transport position (4) and the working position (5). 3.
