Abstract

The handle mounting for emergency exit doors has a plastics shrouding (1) round the handle, of a plastics material which resists damage. The shrouding (1) is secured (2, 3) to the door with nominal fracture points. The shrouding (1) is of transparent unbreakable plastics, pref. of an acrylic plastics.
