Der vorliegende Gasheizofen für Bügeleisen unterscheidet sich von den bisherigen Oefen dieser Art durch die Anordnung eines Mantels, welcher das zu erhitzende Bügeleisen und die Gasbrenner nicht nur theilweise, sondern allseitig umschliefst, um ein Ausströmen der Wärmestrahlen in den Arbeitsraum und einen Verlust an Energie, sodann aber auch das Heifswerden des Bügeleisengriffes völlig zu verhüten. Dieselben haben Luftzutrittsöffnungen h ² zur Speisung der Heizflammen mit Sauerstoff. Mit den Mänteln h h¹ sind durch Scharniere die FlUgelthUren i i¹ bezw. k k^l verbunden, welche das Ausstrahlen der Wärme nach oben verhüten. Zu diesem Zweck sind diese Thüren durch das Gliedergestänge /1¹ bezw. η η¹ mit dem Bufferrost f bezw. f^l derart verbunden, dafs sie sich beim Herausnehmen eines Bügeleisens öffnen und bei Einbringung des Eisens selbstthätig schliefsen können. Die Thüren haben Ausschnittte mm für die Bügeleisengriffe, damit dieselben vor der im Innern der Ofenmäntel herrschenden Gluth bewahrt bleiben (s. Fig. 3).The two Bunsen burners bb ^l.
