Das mit Klettbändern befestigte Fliegengitter beeinträchtigt wiederum auf lange Sicht die Dichtigkeit des Fensters oder der Tür.Conventional fly screens are either attached to door or window frames with Velcro or a sturdy frame made of wood or metal is made onto which the fly screen is attached. This fly screen with frame was then mounted on the existing door or window frame - usually with hinges for the purpose of opening or removing the fly screen in winter or with a fixed screw connection - which necessarily meant that the existing frame had to be damaged or drilled with holes. This also impaired the stability and tightness of the existing frame and thus reduced its function. In addition, the existing frames, especially if they are old or made of wood, are usually not straight or damaged in some other way, so that unavoidable gaps and cracks appeared between the old frame and the new fly screen frame, through which mosquitoes and other insects could still get into the room to be protected. The fly screen attached with Velcro in turn impairs the tightness of the window or door in the long term.

These shortcomings of the previous principles of attaching fly screens do not occur with the new frame type. The all-round brush seal means that the fly screen can be attached in an insect-tight manner even if the existing frame is defective, and the sturdy wooden or metal frame also gives the fly screen the necessary stability for many years. The fly screen with frame stays in the existing building opening - especially window and door frames - by utilizing the holding force of the friction that is generated by the brush seal having to be "squeezed" so that the fly screen fits into the existing opening. This holding force is supported by the metal clips with a variable offset, which prevent the fly screen from being "pushed out" due to the way they are attached to the inside of the fly screen with an overhang on the existing frame. This ensures that the fly screen is firmly held in the frame or building opening without the frame having to be drilled or damaged in any way. Furthermore, the fly screen can be easily removed if necessary - possibly made easier by handles on the fly screen frame - and thus stored safely over the winter.

·**: .: .·*. .··. ···::Due to the fact that the existing frame does not have to be drilled or otherwise damaged, stable fly screens can now also be installed in rented apartments without damaging the property of the homeowner:. ·**: .: .·*. .··. ···::

The invention is explained by the enclosed sketches of the fly screen and frame. The section shows the stable fly screen frame in which the fly screen fabric is attached, with the all-round brush seal, which uses friction to hold the fly screen in the window frame assumed here, as well as the special clips shown here as stainless steel clips, which prevent the fly screen from falling out of the window frame by overlapping. Should the fly screen frame shift inwards due to any external force - e.g. wind - it is pushed back into its original position, i.e. automatically into the correct position, by closing the window sash. Because the clip is very thin, the window can be closed at any time without any problem, even with the window screen attached, as the floor plan sketch shows for the example.
