Diese Erfindung betrifft gewisse Neuerungen an zusammenhaltbaren Schachteln.This invention relates to certain innovations in collapsible boxes.

Für den Zweck seiner Erfindung benutzt der Erfinder zwei Tafeln von geeignetem Material und bildet in diesen Tafeln durch passendes Walzen Nuthen und Rippen auf gegenüberliegenden Flächen für das Zusammenfalten und zur Verstärkung. Die Enden der beiden Tafeln werden überlappt und durch Niete oder andere Mittel vorzugsweise längs, der verticalen Mittellinie der herzustellenden Schachtel mit einander verbunden; die oberen und die unteren Ecken jeder Tafel werden weggeschnitten, und die dadurch gewonnenen Lappen werden einwärts gefaltet, so dafs ihre Endkanten beinahe zusammenstofsen. Diese werden zusammengeschnürt oder in irgend einer anderen Weise lose verbunden, damit ein gewisser Spielraum in den Fugen verbleibt, wenn die Seiten von der verticalen Mittellinie aus einwärts gefaltet werden; dann nehmen die Lappen eine verticale Stellung an. Beim Auseinanderfalten der Schachtel erhalten die Lappen, wieder ihre inwendige horizontale Lage.
