Description
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung, die es gestattet, mittels des Luftdruckes im Reifen eines Fahrzeuges den erforderlichen Reifendruck selbsttätig aufrechtzuerhalten.The invention relates to a device that allows by means of the air pressure in the tires of a vehicle automatically sets the required tire pressure maintain.
Bekanntlich muß in einer Fahrzeugbereifung in Zeitabständen der Luftdruck ergänzt werden. Entsprechend dem Vorschlag der Erfindung kann man nun den Reifendruck dazu benutzen, mittels einer auf den gewünschten Reifendruck einstellbaren Meß- und Arbeitsdose a den Reifendruck konstant zu halten. Zu diesem Zweck ist mit der Meß- und Arbeitsdose ein Gestänge b verbunden, das bei eintretendem Überdruck ein Luftauslaßventil c öffnet und bei Minderdruck durch einen elektrischen Kontakt d einen Stromkreis schließt, der mittels eines Elektromagneten e eine Luftpumpe f einkuppelt. Die Pumpe, die an dem Radkörper angeordnet ist, tritt also nur in Tätigkeit bei Minderdruck und wird von der Meß- und Arbeitsdose durch Öffnen des gleichen Kontaktes wieder abgeschaltet. Durch die Benutzung eines elektrischen Kontaktes und eines elektrischen Kupplungsmagneten ist es möglich, daß die mit dem Radkörper umlaufende Meß- und Arbeitsdose den nicht umlaufenden Kupplungsmagneten steuert, der durch Verschieben seiner Schaltnocken g die mit dem Radkörper umlaufende Luftpumpe in Tätigkeit setzt.As is well known, the air pressure must in a vehicle tire at time intervals can be added.
