ihn umgebenden Dornhalters, stattfinden.
Press head for extrusion When pressing in batches
of a cable jacket is created during the break between two pressing processes in
the press chamber is in an almost pressureless state. As a result of in the bale chamber during
of the Pre, ßvorganges and occurring during the rest - pressure differences, d.
H. as a result of the breathing processes occurring in the press head when the pressure is changed
an axial displacement of the P're, ßwerkzeuge, in particular the hollow mandrel and the
surrounding mandrel holder. This axial displacement of the pressing tools
the usefulness of the pressed product can be severely impaired, namely
especially when there are considerable gaps in the pressing process, such as this
z. B. is the case when pressing aluminum. While avoiding radial
Displacements of the hollow mandrel during pressing, lead already usable support members
have become known for this thorn, it has not yet been possible to achieve a substantial
Displacement of the pressing tools in the axial direction for those occurring in the press head
Avoid breathing mornings. It was therefore be; i use the previously known
Press heads are often hardly possible, for example an aluminum cable jacket with a very
thin wall thickness can be pressed perfectly. In this case, the hollow mandrel resiliently
pressure-free state of the P'nessenkopfes often so far against the die back that: ß
the cable jacket is badly damaged by the die edge adjacent to the hollow mandrel
or could be squeezed.
To avoid these shortcomings is
in the press head according to the invention of the hollow strand to be pressed, for example
the cable jacket, co-forming hollow mandrel and / or the sleeve-shaped which surrounds this mandrel
Holders by axial compression, pressing with the help of at least one pressure screw
biased in such a way that d, üeser mandrel or this mandrel holder under the effect: des
Preßstoffdruckes is not shifted axially to a significant extent.
der Fig. i veranschaul, icht. In the drawing is a press head according to the invention in one embodiment
: shown. Fig. I is a vertical longitudinal section through the press cup, while
Fig. Z -a cross section through part of the press head along the line A-B
the Fig. i illustrates, icht.
in zwei Abteilungen 7, 8 unterteilt.
In the embodiment shown, the press head is split

Arranged type. The molding material, e.g. B. aluminum, is not illustrated by the
Press ram; driven from the receiver 2 into the inlet channel 3 of the press head.
From this channel, the pressed material enters the press comb, in which it is usually used
is deflected at right angles. The bale chamber is by an annular, with
a ring of passage openings ¢ provided approach 5, which is located in the vicinity of the
front end of the sleeve-shaped mandrel holder 6, is arranged on this holder,
divided into two departments 7, 8. The pressed material first penetrates the rear one
Press chamber part 7, then passes through the openings ¢ and is through the
towards the outlet end of the press head tapering front part of the press chamber
8 passed to the annular die 9. In the mandrel holder 6 is the hollow mandrel
i o arranged, the same as the holder 6 at the end facing the die 9
is designed in the usual way conical. Through the annular gap between
the die 9 and the hollow mandrel io the molding material emerges from the front press chamber part 8
in order to get its final shape as a cable sheath.
Pressenkopf i gepreß t.
i o wirkt, mindestens das Gleichgewicht hält.
The hollow mandrel io is provided with an annular shoulder i i,
which is supported against a corresponding ring surface in the mandrel holder 6. In the mandrel holder
6 is a hollow thread 12 by means of the thread 12 arranged in the vicinity of the hollow mandrel
Pressure screw 13 screwed, which against the hollow mandrel ia in. The direction after
the exit end of the press head. The ring surface i is also supported
q. of the approach 5 of the mandrel holder 6 against a corresponding annular surface in the press head
i. A hollow pressure screw 16 is located in this press head by means of the thread 15
screwed that against the. Mandrel holder 6 in the direction after the exit end of the
Press head works. By tightening the pressure, it becomes 16. the ring surface
-q. of the approach 5 of the mandrel holder 6 firmly against the corresponding annular surface in
Press head i pressed t. The mandrel holder 6. a bias in such
Measures given that they the highest compression pressure in. The compression chamber part 8 against
the conical surface of this mandrel holder 6 acts, at least keeps the balance.
Furthermore, by tightening: the pressure screw 13, the annular surface i i of the H, öhld: ornes
io pressed firmly against the corresponding ring surface in the mandrel holder 6. Here -will
also gave the hollow mandrel a pretension to such an extent that it gave the highest
Compression pressure in the Preßkammertenl 8 against the conical surface of this hollow mandrel
i o works, at least keeps the balance. In this way, both the mandrel holder
6, as well as the hollow mandrel io against considerable axial displacements, i.e. against strong ones
Return movement away from the die 9, in the case of the press operation in the press chamber part 8
occurring high pressures secured.
The die 9 has a relatively short length and is therefore less
exposed to the risk of considerable axial displacement than the mandrel holder 6
and the hollow thorn io. The reading die is in an annular shape. Washer 17 guided,
which are screwed into the press head at the outlet end of this head
Screw 18 is arranged. In the screw 18 is a hollow pressure screw i 9
screwed, with the help of which the die 9 is axially adjustable.
The cable core, on which the Pneßwerkzeuge 9, i o
, produced cable sheath is moved from left to right in Fig. i
through the bores of the pressure screw 13, the hollow mandrel i o; the die 9 and
the pressure screw- i9 through it. If when using the cable jacket press the
Size of the annular gap between the die 9 and. the hollow mandrel i o can be changed
should, in order to gain a cable jacket of greater or lesser wall thickness,
only the die 9 needs to be axially adjusted with the aid of the pressure screw i9.
There. the mandrel holder 6 and the hollow mandrel i o as a result of the prestress given to them
against retreating away from the die 9 when operating the press by
Preßkamnierteil 8 occurring high pressures are secured. the one-time hired
Jacket thickness permanent even with the breathing processes occurring in the press head i
essentially maintained.
