Description
The '898: 222 patent relates to an inducing hollow conductor for inductive. Surface hardening, which also serves as a detergent spray, and protects a further perfection of this ladder, which consists in his The cavity consists of two separate chambers, one of which has a constant flow of coolant for the conductor itself leads, while the other in the one facing the workpiece Wall has spray holes and supplies the detergent. -The invention aims a further perfection of the leader of this genus and consists in the fact that the Coolant chamber directly on the wall of the conductor facing the workpiece and the detergent chamber with the spray holes of this wall through the Coolant chamber is connected to penetrating tubes or warts. According to the invention furthermore only needs the wall facing the workpiece with those provided on it To consist of a highly electrically conductive metal, for example, spray warts made of copper. This wall can be in a housing from an electrically bad or non-conductive material included, e.g. B. be pressed around by him. This material must of course, be so heat resistant that those occurring when the conductor is heated Temperatures cannot destroy it. Eventually, the spray warts can appear hang the housing body and consist of its material, so that only the workpiece The facing wall of the conductor is made of a highly conductive material.
The invention has the advantage that the cooling of the inducing conductor wall is further improved, so that the load on this wall is increased even more can be. At the same time, this improves the efficiency of the inductor, since its losses are minimized. Particularly advantageous are the production of only the inducing conductor wall from a highly conductive material, z. B. copper, and the extrusion of this wall through the rest of the conductor housing, which is made of a sufficiently heat-resistant material, for example a suitable synthetic resin.
The drawing illustrates several exemplary embodiments of the invention on cross-sections through the conductor.
ach Fig. i besteht der ganze Leiter i aus Metall. According to Fig. i, the entire conductor i is made of metal. Its cavity is divided by a wall 2 into the coolant chamber 3 and the detergent chamber dt. The inductive conversion 5 of the conductor facing the workpiece contains the Injection holes 6, through tubes or warts 7 with the detergent chamber .I are connected. During the coolant flow through the coolant chamber 3 constantly flows, a spray from the detergent chamber 4 takes place only after reaching the required quenching temperature in the workpiece. It is advantageous to to give high velocity to the coolant flow and the quenchant chamber .I to be dimensioned as large as possible so that there is a sufficient supply of detergent for the sudden quenching of the workpiece is present.
In the design according to FIG. 2, only the one facing the workpiece is inducing wall 8 of the _ conductor 9 with the spray nipples attached to it io made of a material that conducts electricity well, for example copper, while the entire remaining part of the conductor 9, d. H. its side walls ii and 12, its wall 13 facing away from the workpiece and the partition 14 between the detergent chamber 15 and the Kühlmnttelkammer 16, made of an electrically non-conductive or poorly conductive Fabric consists, for example, of a sufficiently heat-resistant synthetic resin, in which the copper wall 8 is pressed in with its spraying% varzen.
In the design according to FIG. 3, there is only the one facing the workpiece inducing wall 17 made of copper, while the entire remaining conductor 18 including the spray lugs i9 consists of a poorly or non-conductive material, for example made of a heat-resistant synthetic resin in which the inducing plate 17 is pressed is.
