Description

Bei der Druckschweißung von Rohren gegen ein ebenes Werkstück hat man zur Erleichterung der Schweißung das Ende des Rohres abgeschrägt. Es hat sich bei dieser Schweißung jedoch gezeigt, daß das Rohr überhitzt wird, sofern nicht die Dicke des Rohres mindestens 11/z- bis 2mal so groß ist wie die Dicke der Platte, mit der das Rohr verschweißt wird. In vielen Fällen ist es jedoch notwendig, das Rohr mit einem Werkstück mit bedeutend größerer Dicke im Verhältnis zur Dicke des Rohres zu verschweißen. Dies wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch ermöglicht, daß das Rohr am Ende umgebördelt und bei der Schweißung von stromführenden Klemmbacken umfaßt wird, die bis an das Ende des Rohres herunterreichen und sich genau der Form der Umbördelung anschmiegen.
