Die Ausgangserzeugnisse sind im übrigen dieselben, wie sie im Patent 886453 beschrieben sind. Die Veresterung kann mit den verschiedensten Alkoholen wie Butanol, Glycerin oder verschiedenen Glykolen erfolgt sein. Die besten Weichmacher stellen .die Verbindungen dar, die wenigstens 1q. C-Atome im Molekül und etwa ro bis z8o/o Chlor enthalten. Die Säurezahlen können in weiten Grenzen, z. B. zwischen etwa ro und r7o, schwanken. Die Weichmacher haben eine sehr gute Verteilerwirkung und Kältebeständigkeit und verleihen der Kautschukmischung eine besondere Spritzbürkeit. Was die Kältebeständigkeit anlangt, so sind die Erzeugnisse besonders hervorgehoben, bei denen das Grundparaffin hähermolekular ist, also einen Schmelzpunkt von über 65' besitzt. Um eine besonders hohe Zerreißfestigkeit der Kautschukmischung zu erhalten, kann man auch chlorhaltige Oxydationserzeugnisse nehmen, die teilweise oder vollständig verseift sind oder die mit Wasser zu einer Emulsion verrührt wurden.It was recognized that such products are also excellent plasticizers in which an esterification has been carried out.
