Man kann zwar .derartige Behälter mit geeigneten ölbeständigen Stoffen auskleiden; doch bedeutet dies eine erhebliche Verteuerung der Behälter. Die Erfindung geht von der Tatsache äus, d'aß Wasser und Öl sich nicht mischen und daß weiterhin Öl nicht in feuchtes bzw..durchnäßtes Mauerwerk bzw. Beton und Stahlbeton eindringt. Wenn es also gelingt, Behälter aus Mauerwerk, Beton oder Stahlbeton dauernd feucht, d. h. die vorhandenen Poren dauernd mit Wasser gefüllt zu halten, werden derartige Behälter auch für Öle verwendbar sein. Ein Berieseln der Außenflächen. der Wandungen zum Zwecke des Durchfeuchtens mit Wasser befriedigt jedoch nicht.
