Description

Collectors of electrical machines have so far been made exclusively from Metal, preferably copper. The specific resistance of copper was given and always the same. That is why it is with the various types of electrical machines the resistance of the lamellas themselves is a fixed value. To that for different Machines necessary changes in the resistance of the coil short-circuit circuit achieve, special measures had to be taken, be it by changing the winding or by using special resistance elements i, in Fig. i of the drawing, which one to achieve the required electrical conditions in the circuit of the winding .2 and 'to achieve good commutation in the commutation circuit had to turn on. This made the constructions heavy and extensive: The The invention provides that the previously built-in resistance elements i thereby makes it superfluous that one already produces the slats 3 from a material, its electrical resistance to the electrical requirements of the circuit for the commutation is fair (Fig. 2). One that is most favorable to these conditions The material that does justice to this is charcoal, the electrical resistance of which is fabrication-based can be largely controlled. By any variation of the charcoal material the change in resistance of the winding circuit is achieved through the lamellas. This means that within certain limits the winding designs of individual machine types can also be selected unify, which as a result of the. Construction simplification essential economic and extraordinary technical advantages due to the improvement of the commutation result.
