Description

The subject matter of the invention is concerned with the retrieval of valves. The task is to create a valve return device of low overall height and . to provide low maintenance. As the rocker arm journals in general are made hollow, it is advisable to insert a lamellar torsion spring into this cavity to install an existing torsion bar. The E.ndsn of the torsion bar spring are in bearing blocks held and the torque from the rocker arm in the middle between the bearing points removed. Such a species order will result in a reduction in weight and a reduction in the end cross section of the cylinder head of an internal combustion engine achieved. In addition: the valve stem becomes shorter, and the lower masses become smaller can be kept smaller. There, the torsion bar spring consists of several rectangular, composed of thin steel strips, the risk of a spring break is practical switched off, since only one of these steel strips breaks through initially and the other to the perception of the break the further stresses without take over another. Because the outer steel belts because of their higher stresses break first, but the inner ones have a longer lifespan the breakage of a torsion bar spring element is not only easier to determine, but also the Easily repair damage too. Another advantage is that such a The spring element is much cheaper than a cylindrical coil spring that has the allow the same torque to be transmitted.

An exemplary embodiment is shown in the drawing. The rocker arm i is mounted in the middle between two bearing blocks 2 on the plain bearing bushes 3. The lamellar spring bundle 4 asked the task of the return device, the valve. The single ones Spring elements of the torsion bar spring 4 are held in bearing bodies 5, which are in, the bearing blocks.2 are centered and attached, for example, by bayonet locks.
