Shoe sole

With all types of shoes, the comfort and well-being when wearing them depends very much on the shape of the sole and how it behaves when walking. The same also applies to maintaining and/or promoting the health of the feet.

These recesses have a massage effect when walking, similar to that of studded soles. The ventilation effect of these recesses is very low, since when the heel is put down, the upper edge of the recesses is closed by the sole of the foot. The reduction in the volume of the recesses caused by the elastic flexibility of the shoe sole is relatively small, so that the air trapped in them only experiences a very small increase in pressure. This is generally not enough to push a significant amount of the trapped air out from under the sole of the foot resting on the edge of the recesses. Even the shallow depressions formed at one point on the edge of the recesses are not suitable for this, since they are also covered by the sole of the foot resting on them. The interior of the recesses is practically only released again when the heel and arch of the foot are raised when walking, thus relieving the pressure on the rear area of the sole of the shoe. But then the elastic compression of the shoe sole has already ended, so that a displacement effect can no longer take place.

The invention is based on the object of creating a shoe sole whose ventilation effect is significantly greater than that of the known shoe sole.

Since when walking only one part of the sole is loaded and the other is not loaded, the air in the unloaded part can escape from the recesses unhindered and the relevant part of the foot fan around. Due to the constant change between the load on the front and back parts of the sole, a certain amount of air exchange takes place between the front and back parts of the shoe when walking.

Even if the volume of air displaced into the front part of the shoe when the heel is placed on the ground is not fully reclaimed when walking, but part of it escapes from the opening of the shoe, this is not a disadvantage but rather a further advantage of the shoe sole. This missing volume of air is then sucked in from the area around the heel, not only from the hollow space in the front of the shoe, but also to a certain extent from the open environment along the heel. This not only results in internal air circulation, but part of this air is constantly replenished with fresh air. Since the heel is known to have a very strong blood supply, the air sucked in from the outside is very quickly warmed by the heel, so that even in the cold season there is no fear of the forefoot cooling down.

On the contrary, the fact that part of the air that is humidified by the perspiration of the foot inside the shoe is partly replaced by the fresh air with a much lower humidity that is sucked in around the heel keeps the forefoot in the shoe very pleasantly dry. This is precisely what prevents the cold effects and sensations on the foot that would otherwise occur with damp feet and socks.

As can be seen from Fig. 2 and 3, a flat recess 21 is formed in the area of the footballs and toes on the top of the base body 13. All of the recesses 18 are located within the plan projection of this recess 21. Within the recess 27, several channels are formed on the underside of the base body 13. In the rear part of the base body 13, the rear channel 28 is present, which runs at least approximately in the longitudinal direction of the base body 13. In the front part of the base body 13, there are three longitudinal channels, namely the middle longitudinal channel 29 and the two lateral longitudinal channels 30 and 31. In addition, there are two transverse channels, namely the front transverse channel 32 and the rear transverse channel 33.

The middle longitudinal channel 29 runs at least approximately in the longitudinal direction or longitudinal center of the front part of the base body 13, directly adjoining the rear longitudinal channel 18. The sole insert 16 is mechanically firmly and watertightly bonded to the underside of the base body 13 inside the recess 27 at least along its outer edge in a sufficiently wide area, but preferably over its entire area outside the channels 28 ... 33.
