Nach der Ausführung gemäfs Fig. 1 besteht der Umschlag aus dem Mitteltheil B, den Seitentheilen CC, dem kurzen Endansatz D und dem gegenüberliegenden Ansatz E, dessen Länge gleich jener des Mitteltheiles ist. Der Umschlag wird so gefaltet, dafs man zunächst die gummirten Ränder von CC und D, die in der Zeichnung gekörnt sind, anfeuchtet, alsdann den Theil E auf B auflegt, hierauf die Seitentheile CC auf E aufdrückt und festklebt, und schliefslich Klappe D ebenso auf den Klappen C C befestigt. In diesen allseitig geschlossenen Umschlag wird der zusammengefaltete Briefbogen durch den Schlitz F eingeführt. Der Briefbogen erhält in der Mitte, nahe der Kante, mit welcher er in den Umschlag eingeführt wird, einen der Breite des Streifens G entsprechenden Schlitz, in welchen die Spitze des Streifens G eingeführt wird, worauf man den Briefbogen über den Streifen G hinweg und durch den Schlitz F in den Umschlag einschiebt. Alsdann wird der Streifen G so weit abgeschnitten, dafs das nunmehrige Ende desselben innerhalb des Umschlages liegt; beim Versuch, den Inhalt herauszuziehen, reifst entweder der Streifen G ab, oder wenn dies auch nicht geschieht, so ist es doch nicht möglich, den Briefbogen wieder über den Streifen G hinzuschieben.
