Wall hooks have been around for many years and are used to hang up all kinds of wall cupboards, jukeboxes, wardrobes, pictures, mirrors, etc. The wall hooks are usually made of round steel wire and therefore have a metallic surface. The surface is also galvanized and blued. It is known that wall hooks are pointed squarely so that they can be hammered in with a hammer and that wall hooks are made with a thread for screwing in. It is also known that wall hooks with a thread for screwing in have a slot lengthways through the flattened outer center of the hook so that they can be screwed in with a screwdriver.

A disadvantage of the conventional hammer-in hooks used to date is that the main impact surface is not central, but above it. This makes it very difficult to hammer in these hooks and there is a great risk of them bending and slipping, resulting in a high risk of injury. Another disadvantage of the conventional hammer-in hooks used to date with a screw-in thread is that they are very difficult to screw in with a screwdriver, as it is very difficult to center the screw-in tip precisely in the slot of the hook.

Screwing in by machine is far more complicated and dangerous and almost impossible to carry out technically. Furthermore, in many cases, despite a screwdriver guard, conventional wall hooks are still screwed in with pliers, as this is easier and less likely to cause injury due to the leverage effect. As a result, handling is much more time-consuming and inefficient. Conventional wall hooks therefore correspond more to the state of the art in the Middle Ages than to that of the 20th century.

The aim of this innovation is therefore to create wall hooks that can be hammered in and screwed in, which in use are not subject to the limitations and accident hazards shown.

The solution is achieved in accordance with the innovation in that the wall hook consists of a straight, stiff wire, the ends of which are bent in a plane in such a way that the first end forms an angle of approximately 110° to 130° with the middle part, with the far end being bent in the opposite direction to the middle part so that the two end parts form an interior angle of approximately 90°.

The first end part has a length of about 5 mm to 40 mm, the middle part has a length of about ä mm to 20 mm and the second end part has a length of about 20 mm to ¹ 20 mm

The wall hook according to Fig. 2 to 4 consists of a piece of wire with a diameter of about 5 mm, which is bent twice so that a middle part 1 with two end parts

2 and 3. The first end part 2, which is pressed together to 2/3 of the wire diameter, is angled by approximately 125° relative to the middle part 1. The end part 3 is bent downwards so far that the edge 4 of the end part 2 and the edge 5 of the end part 3 form an angle of approximately 90°. The end 6 of the end part 2 remains at 1/3 of the edge 7 and is then bevelled by approximately 55° to the edge 4. The end 8 of the end part 3 is tapered to the end point 9. The end part 2 has a length of approximately 10 mm, the middle part 1 having a length of approximately 6 mm and the end part 3 should have a length of approximately 50 mm in this embodiment. The dimensions mentioned are preferred dimensions.

However, the dimensions can also be modified and the angle between end part 2 and ^middle part 1 can be between 11D° and 130°, whereby the edge 4 of the end part 2 to the edge 5 of the end part 3 should always form an inner angle of about 90°. The middle part 1 can have a length of

4 mm to 20 mm. The diameter of the wire can be between

It is also possible and intended that the end piece 3 has a thread that tapers to the end point 9 and has a thread length of about 70 mm to 100 mm.

This reduces the amount of force required when screwing in, the risk of slipping and the resulting risk of injury is significantly reduced. Furthermore, it has the advantage that the screw hooks of the type specified can now be screwed in mechanically without difficulty using the appropriate means. This makes it possible to screw in faster than before.
