Tree disc

1. The invention relates to a so-called tree disc with a mountable tree holder.

Although strictly speaking, "tree ring" refers to the free area of ground around the tree to be protected, this term is now usually used to summarize all measures around the recessed area - whether circular, square or rectangular - with which the adjacent areas of the planting pit are to be protected, in particular from soil compaction. This is particularly necessary for new plantings in traffic areas, such as on streets and squares.

2. For this purpose, tree discs have been developed, for example, from steel pipes or concrete or reinforced concrete elements or segments in a wide variety of dimensions, designs and embodiments, whereby more or less extensive installation work is required at the site of installation depending on the size of the elements/segments. This includes the installation of perforated plates for tree posts and irrigation shafts. The elements/segments/gratings/discs usually contain ventilation holes. To ensure that large and therefore relatively heavy parts do not compact the soil due to their own weight when they are laid, they are placed on support foundations ₇ or the discs have foundation tunnels.

a) On a prefabricated reinforced concrete element 1,

On the inner circumference of the precast reinforced concrete part 1, stop brackets 8, preferably 4, for a 4-braced steel tube frame 9 as a tree bracket are detachably attached via fastening means located in holes 8.1. The upper part of the stop bracket 8 is connected to the lower part, in the form of a metal plate 8.3, via a suspension eye 8.2. Inside the upper part of the stop bracket 8, which is only open at the top and bottom, there is a detachable steel ring 8.4 (Figure 2).

This bracket 8 also forms a receptacle for the struts 9.1 of the 4-strut steel tube frame 9, which has a retaining ring 9.2 with opening 9.3 in its upper part (Figure 3).

In this way, the entire tree ring can be prefabricated as a compact construction unit with all the necessary functional parts, prepared and made available on demand without the need for lengthy and traffic-disrupting construction and installation work. Planting and watering can be carried out immediately.
