The invention relates to a non-fixed safe, in particular for hotel rooms or the like, with a safe room accessible through a lockable safe door.

sold under the name "cash boxes". These cash boxes have handy formats and therefore cannot be set up in a theft-proof manner, e.g. in hotel rooms, because due to their weight they can easily be carried and transported by one person.

Furthermore, there are known non-fixed safes that are very large and heavy in construction, so that due to their weight they cannot be transported by one person without assistance. However, such safes are not suitable for hotel rooms or the like, as they are too large to protect a hotel guest's valuables against theft in an economical way.

The invention is therefore based on the object of creating a safe of the type mentioned at the beginning, which is inexpensive and relatively small despite its simple construction and yet can no longer be easily transported away, i.e. in an inconspicuous manner.

This object is achieved according to the invention by at least one additional space as a water-filled load weight. This water-filled Bs-

The load weight gives the safe according to the invention a weight, since it can only be transported with great difficulty or even not at ^all without aids. Such a safe can therefore be set up in hotel rooms or the like without the need for complex site fortifications (e.g. walling in). Nevertheless, it offers the guarantee that it is set up in a way that prevents theft and cannot simply be transported away in order to take possession of its contents elsewhere. Due to the high weight of water, the safe according to the invention can be made relatively small, although it still has a high weight due to the water filling.

In principle, the additional compartment of the safe itself can be filled with water. Alternatively, however, it is provided that at least one water-filled container is arranged in the additional compartment. The additional compartment then does not need to be made watertight.

Preferably, the container is a sealable, rigid canister or a sealable container made of plastic film. The safe can thus be brought to its installation location and only then can it be filled with water using the sealable containers by filling the containers using a hose and sealing them once they are completely full. In order to avoid the inconveniences associated with laying a hose, it can also preferably be provided that the containers are filled with water at a location other than the installation location of the safe and then brought into the additional room at the installation location of the safe. For this reason,

It is therefore necessary to have access to the additional room, which, however, must be locked to unauthorized persons.

Preferably, the arrangement can be such that the safe room and additional room are separated by a partition wall provided with at least one access opening. The additional room is thus accessible via the safe room through the access opening, although this access option is no longer available when the safe door that secures the safe room is locked. Unauthorized persons who cannot open the safe door due to a lack of a key or knowledge of the key secret in a permutation lock are therefore also unable to reduce the weight of the safe according to the invention by removing water in order to thus maintain the possibility of transporting it away.

According to another embodiment of the invention, the additional room has a flap that leads to the outside and is secured against opening. The water weights can be brought into or taken out of the additional room through the flap. The flap is preferably secured against unauthorized opening by fastening elements that can be removed from the safe room. Since only authorized persons have access to the safe room, only they can remove the fastening elements so that the flap can be opened.

An alternative way of securing the flap is to overlap a section of the flap with a section of the closed safe door . The overlap prevents

the flap can be swiveled and access to the additional room can be achieved. When the safe door is open, the overlap is removed so that the flap can be opened. Preferably, the safe door has an angled tab in the upper area which, when the safe door is closed, overlaps a section of the outside of the flap arranged in the top wall of the safe or forming the top wall of the safe. This ensures in a simple way that the flap is secured and is only removed when the safe door is opened.

In a further embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the additional space has a wall section that is pushed into guides in the safe walls and secured against opening. In particular, it is advantageous if a side surface of the wall section or a part of it is overlapped by an area of the closed safe door to prevent it from being pulled out. The wall section can therefore only be pushed into its guides or pulled out of them again when the safe door is open. When the safe door is closed, this is not possible because an area of the safe door is in contact with the wall section. This also provides a simple way of securing the additional space with a water-filled load weight.

According to a further development of the invention, the safe has two additional rooms, which are arranged on both sides of the safe room. This means that the safe has a particularly large weight due to the additional room, so that it is practically impossible to transport it away, even with aids (e.g. a laundry cart located in the hotel).

Additionally or alternatively, however, it can also be provided that additional rooms are arranged above, below and/or behind the safe room.

According to a further development, the arrangement can be such that the wall section forms the ceiling wall of the additional room. In this case, it is advantageous if the wall section has an angled edge area which rests against the outer surface of the front wall of the safe and is at least partially overlapped by the closed safe door. In this way, the wall section is secured against being pulled out in a simple manner. Preferably, the edge area assigned to the hinged side of the safe door has an open-edged recess which, when the safe door is opened at approximately 90°, is flush with the safe door profile and engages around the latter with play, whereby the safe door maintains a distance from the ceiling wall of the safe. The open-edged recess is necessary because when the safe door is open ^, the edge area of the slidably mounted wall section is not completely exposed, so that the wall area cannot be pulled out. Only through the recess can the safe door profile be pulled out, whereby the wall section protrudes into the recess and can be removed as soon as it leaves its guides.

According to another development of the invention, it is provided that the additional room is connected to the rear part of the safe room opposite the safe door. This embodiment does not require a flap or wall section to access the additional room, since

this is accessible via the safe door and the safe room. Advantageously, it can be provided that the additional room and the safe room are separated by a removable partition wall. The removal takes place through the safe room from the safe door opening. In order to hold the partition wall, it can be provided that the safe room has a shelf and at least one projection on the inside of its ceiling and that the partition wall rests on one side on the projection and the side surface of the shelf facing the additional room and on the other side is supported on the water-filled container of the additional room.

According to Fig. 1, the non-fixed safe 1 has a safe room 2 which can be locked using a safe door 3. The safe door 3 has an operating button 4 for pushing forward a bolt (not shown) and the bolt works together with a permutation lock 5. A permutation lock is advantageous when the safe is used by different people, since, unlike locks operated with keys, there is no need to pass the key on to the next user. Passing on the key always carries the risk of the previous user making a duplicate key. Under certain conditions, however, it is certainly appropriate to use a key-operated lock instead of the permutation lock 5.

The safe door 3 is hinged on the right-hand side according to Fig. 1 using hinges β. Additional rooms 7 and 8 are formed on both sides of the safe room 2, which are separated from the safe room by partition walls 9 and 10. An access opening 11, 12 is formed in each partition wall 9, 10, from which the additional room 7 and 8 is accessible when the safe door 3 is open.

According to Fig. 2, water-filled containers are housed in the additional rooms 7, 8. Depending on the design of the safe 1, several water-filled containers 13 can be provided in the additional room 7 or 8 (see Fig. 2, left) or it is also possible for an additional room to be completely filled by just one water-filled container 13 (see Fig. 2, right). The water-filled containers 13 can be designed as sealable, dimensionally stable canisters 14 or as containers 15 made of plastic film. The containers 15 made of plastic film have the advantage that they can be easily compressed to small dimensions when not filled and can thus be introduced into the additional rooms through small access openings. The containers are then filled with water inside the additional rooms.

Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of a safe 1, in which additional rooms 7 and 8 are also arranged on both sides of the safe room 2. Additional rooms 7, 8 and safe room 2 are in turn separated by partition walls 9 and 10. The ceiling wall of each additional room 7, 8 is designed as a flap 16 or 17, which are held in the area of the outer edges 18 and 19 of the safe 1 by hinges 20 and 21, respectively.

The flaps 16, 17 are each provided with edges 22, 23 opposite the outer edges 18, 19, which, when the flaps 16, 17 are closed, rest against the sides of the partition walls 9 and 10 facing the additional rooms 7 and 8. In order to secure the flaps 16, 17 against unauthorized opening, fastening elements 26 are provided which can only be released from the safe room 2 and thereby release the hinges TA and 25, so that the flaps 16, 17 can be pivoted about their hinges 20, 21. For example, threaded screws can be selected as fastening elements, the heads of which are arranged on the side of the partition walls 9, 10 facing the safe room 2 and whose shafts pass through corresponding holes in the partition walls 9, 10 and the bevels 24 and 25. Nuts into which the threaded screws are screwed can then be attached to the inside of the bevels 24 and 25. The threaded screws can therefore only be loosened from the safe room 2.

Fig. 4 shows a further embodiment of a safe 1, which also has a safe room 2 with a safe door 3 and two additional rooms 7 and 8 arranged on both sides of the safe room 2. The ceiling wall 27 of the safe 1 is formed by a flap 28, which is pivotally mounted on the rear edge 29 by means of hinges 30. In the upper area 31 in Fig. 4, the safe door 3 has an angled tab 32, which runs parallel to the ceiling wall 27. The safe door 3 is again hinged on the right-hand side by means of hinges 6, according to Fig. 4. When the safe door 3 is closed, the tab 32 overlaps the flap 28, so that it cannot be opened. However, if the safe door 2 is opened, the

Fig. 5 shows yet another embodiment of a safe 1 with a safe room 2 and additional rooms 7 and 8 arranged on both sides thereof. The ceiling walls 35, 36 of the additional rooms 7, 8 are formed by wall sections 37, 38 which are inserted into guides 39, 40 and 41, 42 respectively. The guides are formed on the side walls 43, 44 and a central ceiling section 45 as grooves running across the entire width of the safe 1. Fig. 7 shows the guide 41 as an example of the design of the grooves, into which the lateral edge of the wall section 38 is inserted. According to Fig. 6 and 7, each wall section 37, 38 has an angled edge region 46, 47 which rests on the front wall 48 of the safe 1 when the wall section 37 or 38 is pushed in. According to Fig. 6, the safe door 3 is designed to be so wide that when closed it partially overlaps the edge regions 46 or 47 of the wall sections 37 or 38 and thereby secures them against being pulled out of the guides 39, 40 or 41, 42. When the door is open, the wall section 37 can be pulled out without any problem (see Fig. 6). However, this is not the case with the wall section 38, since the hinged side of the safe door 3 blocks the way for the wall section 38 to be pulled out. For this reason, an open-edge recess 50 is formed on the edge region 47, so that the edge region 47 is divided into a first section 51 and a second section 52 (see Fig. 7). When the safe door 3 is closed, part of the first section 51 is overlapped by the safe door 3, thereby securing the wall section 38. If the safe door 3 is now opened by approximately 90°, the open-edge recess 50 is aligned with the safe door profile, so that the wall section 38 cannot be pulled out of its

Guides 41, 42 are possible, with the open-edged recess 50 enclosing the safe door profile. For this purpose, it is necessary that the safe door 3 maintains a distance from the ceiling wall of the safe 1. The wall section 38 can also only be pushed in when the safe door assumes the previously mentioned open position.

Fig. 8 shows a further embodiment of a safe 1, in which an additional compartment 53 is connected to the rear part 54 of the safe compartment 2 opposite the safe door 3. A shelf 55 is inserted into the safe compartment 2, which can be removed or inserted through the safe door 3. Two projections 59 are located vertically above the rear edge 56 of the shelf 55 on the inside 57 of the ceiling 58 of the safe 1. Furthermore, a partition wall 60 is provided which can be removed from the inside of the safe 1, which separates the safe compartment 2 from the additional compartment 53 and which on the one hand rests against the projections 59 and the side surface of the shelf 55 facing the additional compartment 53 and on the other hand is supported on the water-filled container 13 of the additional compartment 53 (not shown in Fig. 8). In this way, the partition wall 60 is held against falling over (see Fig. 9).

All new features mentioned in the description and shown in the drawing are essential to the invention, even if they are not expressly claimed in the claims.

Safe according to claim 1, characterized in that at least one water-filled container (13) is arranged in the additional space (7, 8, 34, 53). 3. Safe according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the container (13) is a sealable canister (14) or a sealable container (15) made of plastic film. 4. Safe according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterized in that the safe compartment (2) and additional compartment (7, 8) are separated by a partition wall (9, 10) provided with at least one access opening (11, 12). Safe according to one or more of claims 1-3, characterized in that the additional space (53) adjoins the rear part (54) of the safe space (2) opposite the safe door (3). 16.
