Glasplatten.Method of securing glass to a support The invention
relates to a method of securing glass to a support, in particular
for the production of a wall covering made of glass or glass plates.
Man benutzte Glassorten
Man benutzte hierzu besondere
Ferner
sind die vorbereiteten Glassorten teuer. When using glass as wall covering in the manner of tiles
So far, only special types of glass have been used. Types of glass were used
with a rough surface, so that the adhesion to cement or plaster of paris is greater
became. The use of glass plates with smooth surfaces encountered difficulties
since permanent adhesion could not be achieved. Special ones were used for this
Adhesives such as bitumen, putty and the like. However, these substances wear through over time
eroded the cement from which the base of the wall plate or the like consists. One
permanent adhesive bond between glass and one made of cement or mortar
Document could not be reached. In addition, there was a disadvantage that a
opaque glass, e.g. B. milk glass or the like., Had to be used, since it is not
was possible, the back of the glass with putty, bitumen, plaster or the like. So evenly
to cover that with transparent glass the wallcovering was noticeable. the
Previous adhesives only adhere to the glass plate in places, with «-arenes in between
Cavities and the like that arose in a completely uneven and uncontrollable manner. Further
the prepared types of glass are expensive.
The subject of the invention is a method with which it is possible
is to use clear glass plates with smooth undersides as wall cladding plates.
The invention stands out
essentially by the fact that as
Adhesive agent for such glass plates for making wallcovering and the like
Mixture of cement and lime is used, which is an admixture of lactic acid
contains. In addition to the lactic acid, linseed oil can also be added. The proportions of lactic acid
and linseed oil should be compared to the proportions of cement and lime
remain small and relatively small.
in keiner Weise beschränkt.
Kalk, etwa i bis 3 Anteile Leinöl.With the aid of the additives according to the invention, an adhesive one is obtained
Mass that can be easily spread on the smooth surface of the glass and
which shows an intimate bond with the glass surface. In particular, the
Adhesion to the flat glass surface has been proven to be extremely durable. The adhesive layer
is resistant to the effects of weather, moisture or the like. Lactic acid
forms a salt with the lime, I <; calcium lactate; this as a result of the small proportion
is unable to exert a harmful effect. Rather, the lactic acid causes and im
Also the added linseed oil to a certain extent so that the adhesive layer does not become brittle
and can flake off the glass surface. The layer according to the invention shows a
certain binding and adhesive properties that last practically indefinitely: the free side
the layer applied according to the invention can be achieved by applying fine sand
or the like rough, so that the glass plate treated according to the invention adheres
on masonry or the like. Is achieved. The adhesive according to the invention is shown in
a thin layer so that an even distribution .on the
Glass plate is feasible. The layer can be of any color,
so that clear glass can be used as wallcovering parts. The previous adhesives,
such as bitumen, putty and the like, are omitted: the layer according to the invention works
a sufficient connection with the od for fastening wall panels. Like. Common
used girdle, cement or plaster of paris: Another advantage is the cheapness
the wallcovering and the clean appearance. The glass plate shows no wind cracks
or hairline cracks like in the tiles. The outer surface always remains attractive. Of the
The background can be made any color. The joints that are filled in accordingly
have the advantage that the plate edges do not suck up dirt as with
the tiles. So they stay clean. Any type of glass can be processed.
You are not tied to certain plate sizes. The scope is
in no way restricted. The clear glass plates can be used for hospitals, bathrooms
and other rooms in which tiles would otherwise be used.
Furthermore, the glass plates prepared according to the invention can be used in delusional spaces
Furniture or the like. Are provided, for. B. for window sills; Smoking tables or the like
The mixture according to the invention can, for example, have the following composition:
about 1 to 3 parts lactic acid; about 2o to 3o parts cement, about 6o to 8o parts
Lime, about 1 to 3 parts of linseed oil.
Mischung gebracht. The proportions are mixed well together and in a spreadable
Mixture brought.
Statt Milchsäure kann man auch Quark bzw. Weichkäse verwenden.Quark or soft cheese can also be used instead of lactic acid.
