Die bisher gebräuchlichen Ausgüsse an Kannen, Töpfen u. dergl., mögen letztere aus Porcellan, Steingut, Glas, Metall oder einem sonst geeigneten Material hergestellt sein, besitzen den Uebelstand, dafs zu Anfang und beim Aufhören des Ausgiefsens, d. h. dann, wenn infolge der geringen Neigung des Gefä'fses die Cohäsion der Flüssigkeit kleiner als ihre Adhäsion an der Ausgufswand ist, die Flüssigkeit an der Gefäfswand herabläuft. Dieses geschieht, abgesehen von der Geschicklichkeit des Ausgiefsenden, in desto gröfserer Menge, je voller das Gefäfs und je runder der Ausgufsrand ist. Diesen Nachtheil zu beseitigen und einen Ausgufs für Kannen, Töpfe etc. zu schaffen, welcher ein Herablaufen der Flüssigkeit an der Gefäfswand in jedem Falle, selbst bei der ungeschicktesten Handhabung, verhindert, ist der Zweck des den Gegenstand vorliegender Neuerung bildenden Ausgusses, welcher auf der beiliegenden Zeichnung in Fig. 1 an einer Kanne in Seitenansicht und theilweise im Schnitt dargestellt ist, während Fig. 2 eine Vorderansicht des Ausgusses zeigt..
