Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Pendelgleitlager, bei denen .der kugelartige Lagerkörper in einem Außenring beweglich gelagert ist. Zu diesem Zweck ist gewöhnlich die Einrichtung so getroffen, daß der Lagerkörper kugelförmig ausgebildet und in einer ebensolchen Bohrung des Außenringes gelagert ist. Abgesehen davon, daß die,<Herstellunig der kugelförmigem Iaagerfläche in dem Außenring verhältnismäßig teuer ist, macht auch das Einbringen des Lagerkörpers in den Außenring gewisse Schwierigkeiten. Im folgenden wird nun eine in dieser Beziehung verbesserte Ausbildung des Pendelgleitlagers gezeigt, das zudem den Vorteil hat, däß es in solchen Abmessungen ausführbar ist, daß es gegen ein Wälzkörperlager ohne weiteres austauschbar ist.The invention relates to self-aligning plain bearings in which .der spherical Bearing body is movably mounted in an outer ring. Es hat sich gezeigt, daß eine solche Lagerung dies Lagerkörpers, bei der die kugelartige Oberfläche des Lagerkörpers nur zwei kreisförmige Berührungsstellen: mit der ,doppelkegelartigen Innenwand des Außenringes hat, in den meisten Fällen günstig ist. Dabei ist aber der Vorteil vorhanden,, d-aß ein solches Pendelgleitlager in der Herstellung verhältnismäßig billig ist. Der Außenring kann dabei vorteilhaft in der Weise ausgebildet sein, daß mindestens die eine tangierende Fläche aus dem umgebördelten inneren Lappen einer in der Seitenwand des Außenringes angebrachten Ringnut besteht. Die Umbördelung wird dann vorgenommen, wenn der Lagerkörper in den Außenring eingesetzt ist.
