Die Neuerung betrifft eine Geschirrspülmaschine gemäß dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The innovation relates to a dishwasher according to the preamble of claim 1.

Bei einer bekannten Geschirrspülmaschine dieser Art (DE-OS 14 28 357) sind drehbar gelagerte Sprüharme in einem Spülraum unterhalb von Geschirrkörben angeordnet. Dabei ist der obere Sprüharm über ein von oben zugeführtes Rohr mit daran angeordnetem Lager gespeist, während der untere/ ebenfalls zweiflügelige Sprüharm von unten über ein Rohr und ein entsprechendes Lager mit SpülfLüssigkeit versorgt wird. Diese Sprüharme weisen in ihren Sprüharmflügeln nach oben gerichtete Sprüh- und Rückstoßdüsen auf, über die SpülfLüssigkeit auf das im darüberliegenden Geschirrkorb lagernde, zu spülende Gut gefördert wird. Die Bodenwandung der Sprüharmflügel verläuft dabei in einer horizontalen Ebene. Beim Betrieb einer derartigen Geschirrspülmaschine zeigt es sich, daß auf den Bodenwandungen der Sprüharmflügel innerhalb der Sprüharir.e -sine beachtliche Menge von SpülfLüssigkeit verbleibt. Nach Abschluß des Spülvorganges wird entweder die im zu spülenden Gut gespeicherte Wärme zum Trocknen des Gutes ausgenutzt oder zusätzlich Wärmeenergie ' zugeführt. Während des Trockenprogramm<äs verdunstet jedoch nicht nur die am zu spülenden Gut haftende SpüLflüssigkeit, sondern auch der in Sprüh-, armflügeln verbliebene Spülflüssigkeitsrest. Hierdurch wird nicht nur der Trocknungsprozess verlängert sondern auch zusätzliche Wärmeenergie benötigt.In a known dishwasher of this type (DE-OS 14 28 357), rotatably mounted spray arms are arranged in a washing chamber below dish baskets. Die Lösung dieser Aufgabe erfolgt gemäß der Neuerung durch die kennzeichnenden Merkmale des Anspruchs 1«This problem is solved according to the innovation by the characterizing features of claim 1«

Sei einer Ausbildung einer Geschirrspülmaschine gemäß der Erfindung wird eine wesentliche Reduzierung der im Sprüharm befindlichen Reinigungsflüssigkeit nach dem Ende des Spülganges, also vor dem Beginn des Trockenvorganges erreicht, weil unabhänig davon, ob der Sprüharm von oben oder von unten mit Spülflüssigkeit gespeist wird, die im Sprüharm vorhandene Spülflüssigkeit durch die an der jeweils tiefsten Stelle in der Bodenwandung der Sprüharme vorgesehene Ablauföffnung frei in den Spülraum ausfließen kann. Selbst bei von unten gespeisten Sprüharmen ist die gemäß der Erfindung getroffene Anordnung von Vorteil, weil dann auch bei Sprühsystemen mit in der FLüssigkeitszuführungsleitung angeordneten Absperrschiebern der Ablauf der SpülfLüssigkeit am Ende eines Spülganges sicher erreicht wird. Die Steigung bzw. das Gefälle der Bodenwandung solLte für einen guten Zustrom der SpülfLüssigkeit zur Ablauföffnung hin etwa 5 % oder mehr betragen, wobei der Querschnitt der Ablauföffnung gering sein kann, weil der Ablauf der Spülflüssigkeit aus dem Sprüharm nicht schneller erfolgen muß als das Abtropfen der SpüLflüssigkeit von den zu spülenden Teilen. Der Anteil an Leckwasser im Verhältnis zum durch die Sprühdüsen ausgestoßenen Flüssigkeitsanteil wird dadurch auf ein Minimum reduziert. Durch die Neigung der SprüharmfLügel wird im übrigen erreicht, daß die SpüLflüssigkeit auch ohne äußere Einwirkung praktisch vollständig aus den Sprüharmflügeln selbsttätig ausfließt und sich nicht durch Erschütterungen, insbesondere gegen Ende des ' Trockenvorganges von der Bodenwandung Löst und auf das weitgegend getrocknete Geschirr abtropft.
