Description
KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The invention relates to the connection of a glass for medicine and other liquids with a Mefseinatze and is shown in FIGS. 1 to 5 on the accompanying drawing in two embodiments. In both, an insert bottle b is tightly inserted by means of a rubber ring c in the neck of the glass α , as the longitudinal sections in FIGS. 1 and 4 and the horizontal sections in FIGS. 2 and 5 show. The designs differ in that in FIGS. 1 to 3 the insert b protrudes beyond the bottle neck and both insert and bottle are closed by the stopper f located in the former, while in the embodiment shown in FIGS Neck of the vessel α protrudes beyond the upper edge of the insert b and can be closed with a stopper f.
The insert b is provided with the opening d for air and e for liquid. Also, as shown in FIG. 3, it can only have one opening d .
Die Handhabung des Glases ist folgende:The handling of the glass is as follows:
After the glass is filled, the insert b is tightly screwed in and the stopper f is inserted, it is turned over and held in the position, bottom up, until no more air bubbles rise through d. ■ The space between hole d and plug / is now filled. If the glass is now turned again so that the stopper f is at the top, the liquid runs from the upper into the lower part of the insert b. Is the space between hole d and the bottom of b equal to or greater than. that between d and stopper f, all the liquid will now remain in the lower part and be measured through the upper part. If, on the other hand, the lower part is smaller than the upper part, the liquid is not completely absorbed from the upper part below, but the excess is drained off from d. In this case the liquid is measured by the contents between the bottom of the insert and the air hole d.
After removing the stopper f , the measured liquid can now be drunk or poured out.
It is clear that in this way out of the bottle α is no longer. Liquid can be removed than that between the hole d and the plug f respectively. the bottom of the insert b. The designated space is adapted to the usual measures of "tablespoon or full tea".
