The invention relates to a tape spinner for applying
electrically non-conductive tape on elongated objects, where the tape
is withdrawn from a tape supply disk via guide means. Such weirdos
are used extensively to make, for example, an electrical conductor
to insulate or to combine already insulated conductors with further insulating ones
Envelopes. The spinners are often equipped with release devices,
which have the task of stopping the spinner when the tape supply disk has expired
or the tape is broken. A well-known electric. Acting release device
consists of a contact spring, which is behind the spinning position on the one here already
braided conductor loops and makes contact when the tape runs out of one of the specified
There are no reasons and the bare conductor appears under the contact spring. These
Trip device fails, however, if a conductor that already has an insulating layer
of any kind, for example a layer of lacquer or a spinning
Thread or tape, can be provided with a further insulating sheath made of tape
target. Apart from that, this known release device also has the disadvantage
that the error is only recognized and the machine is only switched off after the defect
has already occurred on the object to be spun. It is then in everyone
If necessary, the object to be spun, here the conductor to be insulated,
to remedy the shortcoming to bring back a piece to the beginning of the new volume
to be able to insert. This requires the object to be wound to be retrieved
additional effort and labor and makes the product more expensive.
Another well-known tape spinner that also triggers electrically,
has a feeler lever that continuously scans the thickness of the braided conductor.
The feeler lever actuates a trip circuit as soon as the thickness of the conductor increases
decreased due to lack of tape. But this weirdo has the same
Disadvantage, because here too the deficiency is only noticed after the end of the tape
is applied to the conductor.
macht. The invention relates to a tape spinner with an electrically
tripping device that works without delay when the tape supply disc has expired
triggers and thus the described retrieval of the conductor is completely or almost unnecessary
power.
in schematischer Darstellung.
Es bezeichnen i die Antriebsscheibe und 2 den
Bandteller des Spinners, auf dem die Bandvorrats-
scheibe 3 aufliegt. 4 ist der zu umspinnende Leiter.
Das Band 5, das von der Bandvorratsscheibe 3 ab-
gezogen wird, läuft über den Führungsstift 6 nach
dem Leiter d. Mit 7 sind die beiden hier aus Blatt-
federn gebildeten elektrischen Kontakte bezeichnet,
die voneinander isoliert sind und zwischen denen
das Band 5 hindurchgezogen wird. Die Kontakte 7
sind auf dem am Bandteller 2 befestigten Arm 8
angeordnet.
According to the invention, two resiliently pressed electrical contacts are arranged on the tape spinner, between which the tape, for example a paper or plastic tape, is drawn. As soon as the end of the tape has passed between the mentioned contacts when the tape supply disc has expired, the contacts become due to their suspension Brought into contact and instantly
solution causes. Doing so is by constant
Friction between the belt and the contact surface
Guaranteed that the contacts are always bare
and failure due to contamination of the
bars is excluded.
If, for example, especially for processing
thin and therefore more sensitive tapes
tension of the tape between the contacts is reduced
should be, it is recommended to use the contacts as
To train contact roles. It is there in each case
to judge according to the situation of the case, whether one is the
Contact rollers running particularly smoothly or
how else to measure the bearing friction.
In the case of fast-running Spitinerii it can be advantageous
be liable to arrange the contacts so that the
Contact path approximately tangential to the rotary movement of the
Spinners runs to a disruptive influence
of the release process by Ulieh forces
avoid.
The drawing shows, for example, an execution

Belt plate of the spinner on which the belt supply
disc 3 rests. 4 is the conductor to be wound.
The band 5, which is separated from the band supply disc 3

which are isolated from each other and between them
the tape 5 is pulled through. The contacts 7

tric circuit, which when it is switched off
