Die vorliegende Erfindung behandelt eine neue Anordnung zur Feststellung des Feuchtigkeitsgehaltes von aus Trocknungsvorrichtungen fortlaufend austretenden Stoffbahnen, z. B. Papierbahnen. Ein sicheres Erkennen des Feuchtigkeitsgehaltes ist für den Güteausfall der Stoffbahn von großem Wert und ermöglicht es allein, eine Trocknungsvorrichtung an der Höchstgrenze ihrer Wirtschaftlichkeit arbeiten zu lassen·. Die bekanntgewordenen Feuchtigkeitsmesser sind für den vorliegenden Zweck ungeeignet,· das gilt besonders von den Meßgeräten, die in der Trocknungsmaschine den Trocknungsgrad der Stoffbahn aus der Luftfeuchtigkeit im Trocknungsraum oder auf Grund der Abnahme der elektrischen Leitfähigkeit der Stoffbahn beim Übergang aus dem nassen in den trockenen Zustand angeben sollen.
