Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zum Biegen von Sperrholz, z. B. Furnierplatten oder Schichtholz, und ist im wesentlichen dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Biegen solcher Platten schräg zur Faserrichtung der Furnier- oder Schichtplatten erfolgt. Es wird dazu vorgeschlagen, die zum Biegen verwendeten Sperrholzplatten aus schräg gelegten Furnieren herzustellen. In gewissen Fällen kann allerdings auch die Anordnung getroffen werden, die Faserrichtung der Innenlagen der Sperrholzplatten schräg zur Faserrichtung der Außenlagen verlaufen zu lassen.
