Es wird ein Zi-f-ferblatt -für die Zeitanzeige zur Anmeldung gebracht, in dem die sonst von getrennten Zeigern übernommenen Aufgaben der Stunden und der Minutenanzeige in einem Stück vereinigt sind. Dieses wird von der Achss des Stundenzeigers getragen und bewegt. Ermöglicht wird das durch ein kreisförmiges, noniusartiges Raster, in dem 12 Schlitze in gleichen Abständen auf einer sonst undurchsichtigen, drehbaren Scheibe angeordnet sind (Fig. la), die sich vor einer gleichartigen, aber in 11 Teile geteilten, feststehenden Scheibe (Fig. Ib) bewegt. Dreht sich die bewegliche Scheibe um 30 Grad, axso um den Winkel, den der Stundenzeiger einer Uhr in einer Stunde zurücklegt, so läuft das geometrische Interferenzbild oder auch die Moire-Figur der sichjeweils deckenden Schlitze in den beiden Scheiben genau einmal um den Voll kreis und übernimmt damit die Funktion des Minutenzeigers.
