Unterschenkelprothese
Die Neuerung betrifft eine Unterschenkelprothese, bestehend aus einem hohlen Schaft aus gerecktem Kunststoff zur Aufnahme des ünterschenkelstumpfes, einem Prothesenfuß und einem Zwischenstück als Beinlängcnausgleich zwischen dem Schaft und d&ij Prothesenfuß.
G. Fitzlaff hat die Herstellung einer solchen Prothese in "Orthopädie-Technik" 2/1977, Seiten 30-31, beschrieben. Der
Schaft wird aus einem Kunststoffrohr gefertigt, das monoaxial auf einen größeren Durchmesser gereckt und danach auf ein Gipsmodell des Ünterschenkelstumpfes aufschrumpfen gelassen wird. Am unteren Ende des Schaftes wird in einen nicht ge-1-5 reckten Teil des Rohres eine Montageplatte eingearbeitet, an welche das erwähnte Zwischenstück angesetzt wird.
Dieser Aufbau ist durch das Einsetzen der Montageplatte und des Zwischenstückes sehr arbeitsaufwendig. Durch die Neuerung wird die Montageplatte und ein getrenntes Zwischenstück entbehrlich. Als Zwischenstück wird erfindungsgemäß ein mit dem Schaft einstückig verbundenes Rohr aus Kunststoff verwendet, das an seinem unteren Bide unmittelbar mit dem Prcthesenfuß verbunden ist. Eine zweckmäßige Ausgestalti:ng der Neuerung ist in Figur im Schnittbild dargestellt. Figur 2 zeigt einen Schnitt durch
den Kunststoff-Hohl ing, aus welchem der Schaft und das Zwischenstück hergestellt werden.
Zur Herstellung des Schaftes 1 und des Zwischenstückes 2 wind ein Kunststoffrohr verwendet, welches nur in dem Teil V der später den Schaft 1 bildet, auf einen größeren Durchmesser gereckt wird und in seinem unteren Teil 21 eine gleichmäßige, standardisierte Weite hat. Der gereckte Teil wird in der bisher gebräuchlichen Weise auf ein Gipsmodell des Unterschenkel-IC stumpfes aufschrumpfen gelassen, wobei der untere ungereckte Fohrabschnitt 2 unverändert bleibt. Dieser Rohrabschnitt wird anschließend auf die erforderliche Länge abgeschnitten, so daß ar. seinem unteren Ende unmittelbar der Prrthesenfuß 3 befestigt werden kann.
Zur Befestigung des Prothesenfußes an derr. "--.^cher^uck ist ein Adapter t zweckmäßig, Ger an derr. ProthesenfuB fest angebracht ist und an der inneren oder/und äußeren Rohrwandung des Zwischenstückes 2 anliegt. Der Adapter kann als Zapfen 1J ausgebildet sein, der einen der Innenweite des ungereckten Zwischenstückes 2 entsprechenden Durchmesser hat. Zweckmäßig weist er eine Ringnut 5 auf in welche das Zwischenstück im thermisch erweichten Zustand eingedrückt wird. Dadurch wird der Prothesenfuß unlösbar an dem Zwischenstück befestigt.
Der Adapter kann auch die Form einer auf den Prothesenfuß aufgesetzten Rohrhülse haben, in welche das Zwischenstück eingesetzt ist.
Als Werkstoff, aus dem der Schaft 1 und das einstückig damit
verbundene Zwischenstück 2 bestehen, eignen sich die in der Orthopädie bewährten steifen, bei Temperaturen oberhalb 1000C thermisch erweicnenden und reckbaren Kunststoffe, wie PoIymethylmethacrylat oder Methylmethacrylat-Acrylnitril-Mischpolymerisate. Die Wanddicke des Zwischenstückes 2 beträgt vorzugsweise 5 bis 15 mm, sein Durchmesser 30 bis 80 mm. Der Adapter 4 besteht vorzugsweise aus Metall, z.B. Aluminium.

III · · Unterschenkelprothese Schutzansprüche
1. Unterschenkelprothese, bestehend aus einem hohlen Schaft aus gerecktem Kunststoff zur Aufnahme des Unterschenkelstumpfes, einem Prothesenfuß und einem Zwischenstück als Beinlängenausgleich zwischen dem genannten Schaft und dem Prothesenfuß,
dadurch gekennzeichnet,
daß das Zwischenstück aus einem mit dem Schaft einstückig verbundenen ungereckten Rohr aus Kunststoff besteht, welches mit dem Prothesenfuß verbunden ist.
2. Unterschenkelprothese nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auf den Prothesenfuß ein Adapter zur Verbindung mit dem Zwischenstück aufgesetzt ist, welcher an der inneren oder/und äußeren Rohrwandung des Zwischenstückes (2) anliegt.
