The rubber spring according to the invention lxeruhi that the volume
a rubber body which is limited on all sides so that the rubber does not give way
can, when exerting pressure on the gutami, achieving a corresponding
Work output is reduced. Compared to known springs of this type there is
Invention is that a vain steel spring is connected upstream of a rubber body limited on all sides
is such that the pressurized rubber body first tensions the steel spring,
until this as well as the rubber body is limited to the outside, so that at
further compression of the rubber body this must reduce its volume. The effect
the new spring consists in the fact that when the rubber body is pressed
Rubber volume can expand for the time being, with the steel spring being stressed accordingly
is, while after entering the limitation of steel spring and rubber body to the outside
the rubber can no longer expand and now a volume reduction of the rubber
takes place, with high force and work sizes are achieved.
veranschaulicht.A spring according to the invention is in the drawing in one embodiment
illustrated.
der Dicke A. verbleibt.
Kraft P wirksam, so
In the illustrated embodiment, a closed resilient ring b, which contains a rubber filling c, is arranged in a pot-like housing a with correspondingly thick walls so that only a small clearance of the thickness A between the outer boundary of the ring b and the inner wall of the housing a . remains. The scope is expediently chosen so that with elastic expansion of the ring b and with expansion of the same up to the inner wall of the housing a, the ring is stressed up to the maximum permissible limit. This expansion takes place through the rubber filling c provided within the resilient ring b, which is put under pressure by the punch d, on which the force P acts. So that the rubber is also limited at the top, the housing a is closed by a screwed-in cover e or in some other way. Will now the. If the force P is effective, as long as this is still relatively small, the stamp d will press on the rubber and the latter will elastically tension the resilient ring b. As soon as the force has grown so far that the ring b rests against the inner wall of the housing n, elastic expansion of the ring can no longer take place. The rubber has no further possibilities of expansion, so that as the force P increases further, the rubber must be compressed, which involves not only a large absorption of force, but also a considerable amount of work.
