In. anderen Fällen,
Ambulances have the task, physically handicapped people one
Allow locomotion, with the loss of individual body functions of the driver
is compensated for by arranging the controls in the vehicle accordingly.
So z. B. Vehicles designed for people who: have lost their legs,
that afe operating handles can be made with the hands. In. other cases,
in which one hand and one leg are available, are the operating organs
distributed between these two limbs. But so far there was no possibility
such physically handicapped people to build a roadworthy vehicle, for whom only one
Hand to operate the vehicle: is available.
The invention accordingly relates to a motorized ambulance,
Idas enables its user to fully operate it with a single hand,
The prerequisite is that with this one hand clutch, gearshift, brake .and
Gas can be operated in such a way that overexertion of the hand is avoided
and all controls independently of one another, but also simultaneously and mutually
can be operated variably.
am Steuerhebel 5 ein Gasregullierungsihebel i i angeordnet.
den Gasregulierungshebel i i.
dem Daumen der Gasregulierungshebel i i ge-
The vehicle consists of the vehicle frame i and the front wheel z and the two rear wheels 3. On the vehicle frame sits the driver's seat 4. In front of the driver's seat 4 is the operating lever 5. The same is mounted under the front edge of the seat 4 so that it is transverse to Vehicle steering axis, that is, can be pivoted back and forth in direction 6. This movement transversely to the vehicle axis is transmitted to the front wheel z by means of the linkage 7. Pivoting to the left causes the front wheel to pivot to the left, while pivoting to the right causes the front wheel to pivot to the right. At the same time, this lever 5 can be pivoted forward in the direction. The brake of the vehicle is actuated by this movement, whereby the transmission can take place by means of a Bowden cable or a linkage. At the upper end of the handle of the lever 5 is a handle g rotatable about the longitudinal axis of the lever. By turning this handle, the gear shift of the motor is actuated, the movement being transmitted by means of a Bowden cable. A control lever io, which is used to operate the motor clutch, is connected to this rotary handle. Finally, a gas regulation lever ii is arranged on the uppermost end of the operating handle on the control lever 5. When using the vehicle, the driver @ grips the handle .g with his hand and operates the throttle control lever i i with his thumb. To shift the engine into the various gears, he grabs. the lever io with the fingers, pulls it towards the handle g, turning the handle g around the control lever 5 and engaging the desired gear. After the shift has been completed, the clutch lever io is released again. During this process, the vehicle is steered in the desired direction by moving the control lever 5 sideways. Braking is performed such that the lever can be pressed in each lateral position forward, in which case at the same time joined ii overall with the thumb of the gas regulating lever, and then the clutch lever can be io tightened. All controls are arranged so that they can be operated independently of one another, but also at the same time.
