Description
The invention relates to methods and devices for the automatic picking of green Bean pods from their cabbage bushes. The invention is intended to do what was previously done by hand or machine picking imitating hand picking for canning factories, i.e. in large companies, economically improved.
The mechanical picking are countered by considerable difficulties in that the bean pods have different sizes and shapes and take on irregular positions. The invention is based on the knowledge that you can participate in an economical way, especially without loss Pods only achieve their goal if one has pulled out or mowed down the bushes with the attached ones The pods are torn by stretching the herbaceous bushes and the resulting mixture Pods sorted out. This can be done in a number of ways; it is essential that the bean pods leave the shredding device unharmed. As particularly advantageous to carry out The new picking method has resulted in a division of the bushes by stretching between Gripping tools proved. As a means for this can be, for. B. Rolls with an elastic jacket »5 use, which are in several pairs in a row and from pair to pair greater peripheral speed exhibit. This ensures that the bushes between two pairs of rollers experience a jerky stretching, in which leaves, stems and pods are torn from the stems will. The distance between the roller pairs is chosen so that the longest occurring Bean pod is not caught by two pairs of rollers at the same time, but it is can still be in one pair, while its stem is already in the next, faster pair grasped and is torn off so abruptly.

Man ordnet zweckmäßig so viele WalzenpaareIt is expedient to arrange as many pairs of rollers
hintereinander an, daß auch etwa in Förderrichtung mehr oder weniger quer liegende Schoten allmählich in Strecklage zu ihrem Stiele gebracht und abgerissen werden.one behind the other that pods lying more or less transversely in the conveying direction gradually be brought in a straight position to their stalks and torn off.
In a further development of the concept of innovation explained above, the mixture obtained is Immediately after the dismantling process, initially through vibrating sieves or similar in nature Means are separated from the stems, and placed on them in an appropriately shaped way Air sifter secreted the pods from the leaves and stems.
Details of the innovation are explained below on the basis of the drawing, in which in an elevation, partially in a vertical longitudinal section, an embodiment of the Xeration is shown schematically, after which the bean bushes are torn into their constituent parts be disassembled.
The mowed or, better still, with their roots pulled out, consisting of stems, pods, leaves and stems, bean bushes are transported by a suitable conveyor, e.g. B. a a 5 endless conveyor belt 1, with agents such as shakers or brushes supplied for aligning the bush stem parallel to the conveying direction of a Zerreißstelle, one behind the other five in the example shown arranged pairs of rollers 2, 3.4, is 5.6. Each of these roller pairs, the distance between which is somewhat larger than the largest existing pod length, has a higher peripheral speed than the previous pair. The roller shells are made of elastic material, preferably rubber, so that the bean pods clamped in each pair of rollers are held firmly clamped, but never crushed. The bushes with their roots pointing in the conveying direction and fed to the first pair of rollers 2, 2 are, as soon as their front end is gripped by the second pair of rollers, torn forward with a violent jolt due to the great speed difference between the two pairs and, as long as the bushes in both roller pairs 2, 2 and 3, 3 are clamped, considerably stretched, with the result that some of the pods, leaves and stems are torn off the stems. The same game is repeated from roller pair to roller pair, so that after passing through the last pair all pods are torn from their stems. Experiments make it easy to determine how great the speed difference between the pairs of rollers must be and how many pairs of rollers are normally required. The described distance between the roller pairs ensures the pods reliable protection against tearing, because they can never be clamped in several pairs at the same time. Pods lying approximately transversely to the conveying direction are turned more in the conveying direction from roller pair to roller pair.
The drive of the roller pairs can be by endless chains, belts or belts, for. B. from a step- j disk made, which nut the drive of the conveyor ι can be coupled somehow.
The loose mixture produced in the shredding device falls onto a sorter, in the drawing Example of a vibrating or vibrating screen 8, the bottom of which consists of parallel tension wires, which in run in the direction of conveyance and leave such gaps between them that only the coarse bulky Stalks are retained on the sieve. As a result of the throwing movement that they have on the handlebars suspended or supported sieve 8 issued under the influence of its crank drive 7, get the Strünke finally to the sieve end 11, where they are thrown off with the help of a rotating rake or the like will.
The pods falling through the sieve 8, including lighter leaves and stems, collect on the inclined trough bottom 9 connected to the sieve 8 and, under the influence of the aforementioned throwing movement, slide towards a drop 10, which feeds them to the introductory lock 13 of an air separator. This air sifter essentially consists of a vacuum chamber 17 connected to an exhaustor 16 for sucking off the air with a built-in ascending sifter (fall shaft) 18 in which an ascending air stream (arrow 14) separates the parts brought from the lock 13 according to their g 0 severity that he lets the heavier pods with small remnants of the lighter leaves and stems fall down, while pulling the bulk of the leaves and stems with it into the vacuum chamber. A baffle separates them from the air flow (arrow 15). They are deposited in the lower part of the chamber 17, from which they are continuously discharged through a lock 19. By a horizontal cross conveyor, e.g. B. an endless belt 22, these parts can be discharged to any collection point.
Die Schoten verlassen bei 25 das Sieb 20.The pods with a small admixture of broken leaves and stems fall on a sorting or Vibrating sieve 20, which, apart from narrower diarrhea gaps, can be of the same nature as the sieve 8 and on which the admixture is sieved off. This collects on a below the vibrating sieve 20 arranged channel bottom 23, which can be designed similar to the channel bottom 9 and the admixture leaves at 24. The pods leave the sieve 20 at 25.
All of the above-described parts are attached to a fixed frame 12, which can also be made mobile one structural unit (machine), which also supports all drive parts and their clutches or means of transmission.
The two rollers of each pair are expediently made adjustable with respect to one another with regard to the different types of beans that occur. For the same reason it is also advisable to make the distance from roller pair to roller pair variable.
If necessary, the herbaceous bushes can also be attached to the breaking point by hand, i.e. without a pre-built conveyor, to be abandoned.
5To cut up the bean bushes, for example, appropriately controlled clamping tongs could also be used, which are constantly shifting against each other.
