Description
Man kann folgende Wege einschlagen: i. Process for the production of highly basic carboxylic or sulfonic acids Salts It has been found that one can use highly basic, gel-like, insoluble compounds of aluminum, magnesium, calcium, zinc, lead and the like by double conversion with soluble salts of organic acids into the corresponding insoluble salts can convict. This finding was surprising given the highly basic compounds of the mentioned polyvalent cations partly none, with the usual means of analytical chemistry detectable anions capable of a possible conversion contain more. Among the highly basic compounds are the polyvalent cations Hydroxides, hydrated oxides and similar water-insoluble or largely water-insoluble To understand derivatives that are no or only a very small amount more capable of dissociation contain bound anions. It is known from colloid chemical studies that that the substances mentioned are partly in complex, partly in ionic bond contain. There are different methods for the production of these highly basic salts, which still contain a residual anion. One can take the following paths: i. Partial hydrolysis the aqueous aluminum, calcium, lead salts and the like, so that there is still a small residue of anions is present in the molecule. This partial hydrolysis can be carried out by means of alkaline substances such as ammonia or the carbonates, hydroxides or alkali metal silicates. Furthermore with hydrolytically acting organic Oxides, such as ethylene oxide.
By complete hydrolysis of the aqueous solution of polybasic salts and insertion of a residual anion by adding organic or inorganic acids, z.13. Formic acid, tartaric acid, hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid and the like.
By peptizing gels with suitable salts. For example the peptization of aluminum hydroxide gel with aluminum chloride is mentioned here. It is expedient to use here on 18 moles of aluminum hydroxide gel i to 2 moles of aluminum chloride.
The implementation of these highly basic, insoluble oxide hydrates with the soluble salts of fatty, resin or naphthenic acid and their sulfonates in aqueous suspension or in organic solvents such as alcohols or ketones or cyclic ethers and the like. One can also use the soluble ones in the same way Salts of fatty alcohol sulfonates, aromatic carboxylic or sulfonic acids, such as benzoic acid, Use diisobutylnaphthalenesulfonic acid, alkylbenzenesulfonic acid. It was found furthermore that the oxides, hydroxides, carbonates and for the reaction mentioned 'Silicates, in particular magnesium, calcium and zinc are capable. Apparently these products still have residual anions from their manufacture, which the claimed Enable implementation. You can also use highly basic salts of carboxylic or sulfonic acids produce by placing them on an excess of oxides, oxide hydrates and the like. brings to action. Example i A highly basic oxide hydrate, which by hydrolysis an aqueous aluminum chloride solution with ethylene oxide was prepared and on 6 mol of aluminum hydroxide containing 2 chlorine atoms is suspended in water and shows here a pH value of 6.5. A 3 is left at 15 to 20 ° with thorough stirring o / oige solution of potassium oleate slowly run in and stir for 5 to 6 hours until a constant pH value of 6.9 has been set. It becomes 6.5 percent by weight oleic acid bound. Then it is spun off, washed out with water, in the air dried and ground. After sieving, you get a slightly sticky, loose one Powder.
The present product is a highly basic aluminum oleate, which contains the oleic acid residue predominantly in bond with the main valence. example 2 Zinc oxide hydrate, which still contains i o / o ionic chlorine, is, as in the example i described, in aqueous suspension with the sodium salt of ricinoleic sulfuric acid ester implemented. In this reaction, the course cannot be influenced by changes in the pH value be determined, one must rather use the stoichiometric values determined by analysis Run out of values. In this reaction q. Weight percent of the alkali salt bound by castor oil sulfuric acid ester.
The reaction product is the highly basic zinc salt of castor oil sulfuric acid ester before, with the mentioned fat residue probably partly in main valence, partly in adsorptive Bond exists. Example 3 Aluminum oxide hydrate of the formula A18 (OH) 21S 04 is used in aqueous suspension at room temperature with a 2% solution of oleoyl-N-methyltaurine sodium implemented according to example i and in there. described way worked up. Man can also proceed in such a way that the aluminum oxide hydrate with the aqueous solution of the named surface-active substance wets, the resulting dough dries and grinds.
The yield for the products described is practically the same the weight and depends on the desired water content of the end products obtained away.
