Description
Process in the production of straw mass and wood fibers and / or Boards containing bark material in the manufacture of wood fiber boards with The shaped wet plates have straw mass and bark chipboard so little strength after drying that you cannot put them straight through one on rollers Dryer can lead, as <read with ordinary porous fibreboard happens. So that these straw mass plates can dry, they must be during the Transport through the drying apparatus rest on a pad that is supported by the entire drying apparatus. This document expediently consists of one Mesh or a perforated sheet, e.g. B. a slotted plate, on which the straw or 1, - asermasse is placed in arch form, whereupon the The board with the fibreboard on top is transported through the drying system will. The drying of the plate happens about just as quickly when it is through the drying system is run on a perforated plate as if it were without to rest on such a pad is passed through. The evaporation takes place from both sides of the plate, of course; however, the perforated plate has approximately half of the surface is free, and evaporation can just as easily take place from this as from the completely free surface. However, the evaporation is not proportional to the free surface, since evaporation from a damp surface is all the faster occurs the more humid the surface is. Rather, the evaporation rate is depending on the heat input to the surface, and this heat input is just as good through the plate as if directly to the surface of the plate. this is applicable for the first part of the drying process, d. H. when the water content is still pretty is large; however, if the water content of the plate has dropped to about 50%, @d. H. when 75 to 80 per cent of the water has evaporated, the evaporation begins more slowly to go on. This is due to the reduced flow rate of the Water that during the entire evaporation period from the inner parts of the Plate should flow towards the surface. This speed is reduced the more the lower the water content of the plate. During this drying period, which is the longest in terms of time determines the flow velocity of the water the total evaporation rate in the plate; however, it is evident that the flow velocity in the plate is completely independent of whether the area the plate is freely or more or less covered by a plate. The consequence of which is that drying is about as good when using fiberboard lies on a perforated plate with large perforations, as if both sides the plate are completely free.
This method of drying fiberboard was used in the past Perforated sheets or the like. Applied, which passed through a drying system but in these cases it has been difficult to re-locate the plate. done Loosen drying from the sheet. One has z. B. applied a method, the sheet metal plate moisten so that the lower part of the fiberboard is slightly damp and doing it separates from the sheet metal plate. This detachment of the fiberboard from the sheet metal after Drying poses a difficult problem as this process cannot be expensive may, but must be carried out in a simple manner if it is applicable target.
The invention aims to solve this problem in a particularly simple manner. The invention consists essentially in the fact that one in the manufacture of straw mass plates of the type mentioned above and of other fibreboards after drying is complete The plate is separated from the perforated sheet metal or other base by press a thin-edged tool between the plate and its base. This The tool is expediently designed as a knife which is guided in such a way that the thin. or sharp edge, the cutting edge, near the surface of the sheet, appropriate in the same direction as the slots in the sheet metal. That. Knife can be divided into several narrow edge parts with openings in between, the width of these edge parts corresponding to the slots in the sheet metal. The knife can be designed in a wedge shape so that the plate can be broken away more easily can be. The knife does not need to have a cutting edge, but this one Edge can be rounded. The knife breaks the plate off the sheet metal or better said the sheet metal from the plate. The plate is in fact in accordance with the manufacture The above method made so strong and inflexible that the sheet tends to give way than the plate.
After the plate has finished drying, its adhesive strength is up a flat sheet of iron very little; however, penetrates on a perforated sheet the fiber or bark board when molding into the perforation, the slots, down, whereby the plate holds the sheet in place and separating the sheet from the plate difficult. Loosening the plate is therefore made easier if one is in front of or at the same time when breaking through, brushes or scratches the underside of the sheet metal, in the case of slits this is done appropriately along the slots, z. B. a rotating steel brush applies. This will remove the parts of the plate that are in the perforation openings stuck, torn off, so that the subsequent process with the cutting tool is facilitated will.
The invention can also be used in the manufacture of other fiber products can be used as plates.
