Description
Man setzt zwar bei bekannten Verfahren wenigstens einen Teil der Flüssiglmiit dem fertigen Tabakband in irgendeiner Verarbeitungsstufe wieder zu, kann aber zwangsläufig niemals ein Endprodukt erhalten, -das in seiner Zusammensetzung, insbesondere hinsichtlich der Aroma- und Geschmackstoffe, einem reinen Tabak entspricht."Method and device for the production of a strip-shaped material using a fibrous carrier substance and a dust, in particular for the production of tobacco foils "There is already a process for the production of a tobacco paper free of foreign pulp by processing paper that has been pretreated with water Tobacco waste on a paper machine known to be webs. In this procedure the waste from processing the tobacco leaves into tobacco products is chopped up, covered with water and left to stand, whereupon the swelling material is passed through an in the Paper production leads to the usual defibering device, then in an in The sorting device customary in paper manufacture into a long-fiber portion and one Marrow cells, greasy components and not from the Short-fiber fraction containing foreign substances from tobacco waste is broken down and aluminum hydroxide is added to the long-fiber portion on a conventional paper machine processed into a sheet and during this processing on the wet part treated with a humectant common for tobacco products. In this procedure So if the tobacco is processed in a liquid phase, that inevitably does so results in essential components of the tobacco being leached out by the liquid will. In known processes, at least part of the liquid is used to the finished tobacco band in some processing stage again, but can inevitably never get an end product -that in its composition, especially with regard to the aroma and flavor, corresponds to a pure tobacco.
The prior art also includes a method for producing Tobacco products in which tobacco leaves are either whole or in leaf form or tobacco after cutting into strips can be treated in such a way that one tobacco or tobacco dust finely divided on this cut tobacco using of adhesives. In this way are supposed to be made from waste in the form of before, original leaves or woody ribs or the like Tobacco ingredients can also be used in the end product.
The state of the art also includes the use of binders, for example galactomannan gum for tobacco dust in the production known per se of tobacco foils.
The invention has set itself the task of creating a method which works largely without any addition of non-tobacco binders and above addition avoids a wet phase, so that tobacco foils arise that to a a small part made from suitable fiber material and a considerable part from tobacco dust exist and thus an end product is achieved that is different in terms of its composition practically does not differ from the original tobacco. The inventive method can of course be used wherever a film or another tape-shaped material using a fibrous carrier substance and to make a dust. However, the principle of the invention can be particularly advantageous apply to the manufacture of tobacco foils. The invention works thus from a method for producing a strip-shaped material under Use of a fibrous carrier and a dust and is directed in particular to a process for the production of tobacco foils. The inventive method is characterized in that dry fiber material is de-lumped and with the help an electric field between the de-lumping system and a conveyor belt the conveyor belt is obtained; that on those in the area of this field that with With the help of a field plate is also maintained next to the de-lumping plant, straightening fibers the dust is given up, and that finally those with the Dust charged fiber web is compacted. Preferably the one with the dust covered fiber web rolled for compaction.
The fibrous web loaded with the dust can be before / or after compaction can still be slightly moistened, or you can do the entire process in one suitable, moisture-enriched atmosphere, thereby creating the tensile strength of the resulting tape can be increased significantly.
Using the example of the production of tobacco foils, the invention are explained in more detail below: The starting fiber material is clumped for example by rubbing or beating. The raw material is what it is when applying the method according to the invention to the production of Tobacco films for example regenerated cellulose, hydrate cellulose, native cellulose, appropriately processed cellulose, tobacco fibers, etc.
The electrical applied between the conveyor belt and the field plate Field preferably has a field strength of 1000 - 2000 V / em, which is at a distance between conveyor belt and field plate of 10 cm with a voltage of 1000 V or at Increasing the distance to 20 cm corresponds to a voltage of 20,000 V.
The compaction of the web is expediently carried out by rolling, but is the invention is not limited thereto. To increase the strength of the film obtained increase the fiber web before / or after compacting with small amounts of water, in the production of a tobacco film but also with a tobacco extract solution or optionally treated with a binder solution. This solution can be made from cellulose derivatives, like 0M0, M0, Methyl cellulose, ethyl cellulose as well as alginates, pectins, Calactomannans etc. exist. Of course you can get this desirable Also carry out humidification in such a way that at least part of the conveyor belt is ate run in a suitably humid atmosphere.
In the method according to the invention, it is not essential whether the dust is applied to the fiber web at the same time as it is formed or later. It is only essential that the application of the electrostatic field Fibers of the fiber web are oriented and stand perpendicular to the conveyor track, ao that the dust can store itself between these fibers and during the subsequent Compaction of the fiber web is accordingly caught in the fiber web.
The drawing shows embodiments of a device for implementation of the method according to the invention. Fig. 1 is a partially sectional drawing Side view of a device and Fig. 2 shows a modified embodiment also partly in section and in side view.
Both figures have 1 and 2 reels or rollers designated, over which a conveyor belt 3 runs. The direction of travel of the conveyor belt is determined by the Parts 4 indicated. In the Pig. 1 are a series of support rollers 5 provided.
Die Walzen 2 sind vorzugsweise geerdet. The rollers 2 are preferably grounded.
The conveyor belt 3 is advantageously made of plastic or with one Plastic-coated material, but can also be made of metal. plastic however, it has proven to be superior to the metal.
In the Pig. 1 is at the front end of the conveyor belt 3 has a crushing and / or de-lumping device for the fiber material to be abandoned. This device is denoted by 5 '. It contains a number of rollers 6, which can optionally be equipped with knives. At the lower end of the device 5 das.entklumpte fiber material exits and is from Conveyor belt 3 taken along in the direction of part 4. It gets under the field plate 7, for example to +10 000 to 20 000 Y compared to the grounded conveyor belt 3 is charged. The field plate `l is with the fntklumpungsanlage 5 'electrical coupled and has fine openings 8, ne dw them as a sieve for trickling of the dust Can be used. Of course it can Penetration of the dust 9 into the space between the field plate 7 and the upper run of the conveyor belt 3 also in a different whiteness, for example by blowing in from the side, take place. Through the field lying between the conveyor belt 3 and the field plate 7 align the individual fibers of the fiber material, as shown schematically in the drawing indicated, so that the dust 9 can trickle between these fibers 10. To leaving the built up between the field plate 7 and the upper run of the conveyor belt 3 Field, the fibers collapse, as indicated at 11. That kind of formed, loaded with the dust fiber web is through the on the reversing roller 2 Acting roller 12 compacts and occurs as a comparatively high tensile strength web 13, supported through the support rollers 14 from the device.
It has been shown that the tensile strength of the web 13 is essential can increase if, for example, in area 11 an additional minor Makes humidification.
Die Einführung des Staubes erfolgt beispielsweise von der Seite her durch die Einblasdüsen 15.In the embodiment shown in Fig. 2 is the Clumping device below the lower run of the conveyor belt 3. To this clumping device 5 the field plate 7 follows. The introduction of the dust takes place, for example from the side through the injection nozzles 15.
The arrangement works in such a way that through the created field the dust upwards from the lower run of the conveyor belt 3 and between the fibers is attracted at 10 and is deposited there.
By the rolling device 16, consisting of two rollers, the Sliver compacts and leaves the arrangement in compacted form at 17.
In general, the tape produced in this way consists of 5-10% of the fibrous carrier material and approx. 90% of dust, that is to say, in the production of tobacco foils, it has a tobacco dust content of at least 90%.
