Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung von Leimpulver Knochen- oder Hautleimbrühen, die meist 500/0 Wasser enthalten, werden gewöhnlich mittels eines Warmluftstromes bis zu einem Wassergehalt von etwa 12(/o getrocknet, worauf die Masse z, B. in Formen gegossen wird. Zur Gewinnung von Leimpulver muß der Leim dann noch mechanisch zerkleinert werden. Das Verfahren besteht im wesentlichen darin, daß die Leimlösung mit organischen Lösungsmitteln, vornehmlich Perchloräthylen, vermischt und unter starkem Rühren so lange destilliert wird, bis praktisch kein Wasser mehr übergeht, worauf das restliche Lösungsmittel entfernt wird, z. B. mittels Vakuum, Warmluft, gespannten Wasserdampfes o. dgl. Überraschenderweise fällt dabei ein mehr oder minder feinkörniges Leimpulver von praktisch weißer Farbe an, welches sich leicht in Wasser löst.
