Description

The present invention aims to substantially reduce the Wear and tear on normal shoe soles made of leather, rubber and plastics during use.

Measures for the same purpose are known, which consist in that the soling of the wear and tear caused by nailing, edge protection (e.g. by horseshoe-shaped metallic heel edging) and equivalent means are withdrawn as far as possible.

In contrast, there is the essential feature of the present invention in that wear-preventing elements such. B. metal pins in the soling material are stored so that they are on the one hand at the same time over its entire practical period of use will be worn out and him the other hand by their high Wear resistance convey a significantly longer service life. Opposite to the conventional edge protection, the invention also differs in that the applied wear-preventing elements over the entire wear surface are appropriately distributed. The wear-preventing elements can be in the The outsole itself or be fastened in the material underneath. she In the case of rubber and plastics, this can occur in the course of the manufacturing process for these materials or be inserted afterwards. The drawing shows exemplary embodiments, namely Fig. i shows the running side of a heel and a section along the line A-B and FIG. 2 shows the same arrangement in a different embodiment.

In Fig. I a normal rubber heel pad i is provided over its entire surface with preformed or subsequently executed bores 2 which are used to accommodate fitted metal pins 3 similar to countersunk rivets, which largely reduce the wear of the pad i. Nails 5, which are driven into the bores 4, are used to fasten the same. Fig. 2 shows on the same object an embodiment in which the wear-preventing metal pins 3 are designed so that they are provided with tips 7, at the same time to attach the pad i on the shoe, for. B. Paragraph 6, can be used.
