Sporthallen usw. eingesetzt werden. Das in der Regel in sich geschlossene Gehäuse besteht aus Blech oder Kunststoff und ist an der Leuchtseite mit einer durchsichtigen Platte aus Glas oder einem entsprechenden durchsichtigen Material abgedeckt. Derartige Leuchtengehäuse sind bisher im Grundriß rechteckig, trapezförmig, oder als symmetrisches 6-Eck ausgebildet worden.
