Während das langsame Eingießen des Stahles in der Hauptsache zu der Erzeugung kleinster Lichtweiten beiträgt, gelingt es mit der angegebenen Regelung der Drehzahl, die Rohre trotz ihrer dicken Wandstärke in einwandfreier Beschaffenheit, d. h. ohne Rißbildung und mit glatter Oberfläche, also ohne Mattschweißenbildung und Spritzer, herzustellen. Am vorteilhaftesten ist für die Durchführung des Verfahrens die senkrechte Lage der Kokille oder Form während des - Eingießens und Schleuderns, weil durch sie die ungestörte und gleichmäßige Erstarrung des Werkstoffes begünstigt wird.
