Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf diejenige Art Knöpfe, welche an Kleidungsstücken oder anderen
Artikeln durch eine besondere Befestigungsmethode ohne Nähen oder Schnürlöcher angebracht
werden. Es lassen sich diese Knöpfe ebenso wie deren Befestigungsart auf Kleidungsstücke,
Schuhzeug, Handschuhe, Gamaschen oder andere Gegenstände anwenden, zu welchem Knöpfe erforderlich sind, indem der Zweck
dieser Verbesserungen dahin geht, die Anwendung eines Werkzeuges zu vermeiden, welches
bisher zum Befestigen solcher Knöpfe nothwendig war.The invention relates to the type of buttons that are attached to clothing or others

Der Knopf besteht aus zwei Theilen; der obere Theil wird in die erforderliche Form geprefst

dieses Knopfes besteht aus einer cylindrischen Röhre von Metall, welche am oberen Ende verschlossen,
deren unteres Ende jedoch mit einer Flantsche bezw. einem Halsstück versehen ist.
Um einen solchen Knopf an ein Kleidungsstück oder einen anderen Gegenstand zu befestigen,
wird das Ende des »Befestigers« durch das betreffende Stück und in das Loch im unteren
Theil des Knopfes gesteckt; sodann schlägt oder drückt man auf das untere Ende des »Befestigers«,
worauf das obere Ende desselben mit der unteren Seite der Vertiefung des Knopfes zusammentrifft
und sich umnietet, so dafs der »Befestiger« nicht mehr herausgezogen werden kann, dem Knopf
jedoch eine drehende und oscillirende Bewegung gestattet.The button consists of two parts; the upper part is pressed into the required shape

des »Befestigers« geschlagen wird, das obere Ende desselben gegen die untere Fläche der
Vertiefung b trifft und dadurch umgelegt wird, so dafs es durch die Oeffnung e nicht mehr hindurchgeht,
wohl aber dem Knopf eine drehende und oscillirende Bewegung gestattet. Obgleich diese Verbesserungen in ihrer Anwendung auf
Hosenknöpfe beschrieben wurden, so sind dieselben selbstverständlich in gleicher Weise auch auf
