Description

Schwimmkörpern` ausgerüsteten Leitung. o Die-Erfindung ist .in der Ze.ichnüng in einem Ausführungsbeispi@el dargestellt.`T; he`er ng concerns a device for the transmission of messages between watercraft traveling one behind the other, especially for the production. of telephone connections by means of currents conducted through the water. Therefor are used in a known way dragged probes, which are electrically isolated by Lines are connected to @d @ en apparatus, in the ship. ° 'The invention consists in the fact that such probes have ring-shaped fins (. Through this Equipment of the probes is reached ;; 4aß ', the probe hissed at the greatest dragging hazard not. @ can give in to the endeavor to emerge from the water, but always is kept just below the waterline, so that the current leakage is effective Surface area is within the intended maximum. The rafts, on the other hand, have but also 'the effect, - even at lower speeds, sinking the probe so that it is not possible for the probe into the area the ship's propeller "lengthened. But even when the watercraft is at a standstill To prevent the .Sonde- from sinking, it is advisable to use the probe leads to make it buoyant. This is done in a particularly advantageous manner by that the probe feed lines are arranged in hoses filled with air. This' arrangement was in contrast to the known attachments of special floating bodies the advantage that the probe lead retains a smooth surface and no points of attack . for damage, e.g. B. when retracting the probe. Also the flow resistance is much less with a smooth hose than with a .with. Floating bodies` equipped line. o The invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment shown.

The probe 14 has a streamlined shape and is provided with fins, e.g. B. a Flosseriring 15, vefselietr; ., the. @ elieiifalls strangular cross-section has and is carried by, ribs 16, ir "ge. The fin ring - causes that; ß the in The probe drawn towards i8 always remains just below the water surface i9. The feed line 23 to the probe is in an air-filled rubber hose 21 who not only swims himself, but also in the 'position gt, at rest # -, to assist to prevent the probe from sinking.

The rubber hose 21 is through a rubber insert 22 at its end sealed. The inserted conductor 23 is with the connection piece z5 and over the Connector 27 electrically connected to .dem probe body. The sin is there detachably attached to the grommet 2o which is connected to the connection piece 27 and: secured by the lock nut 26. @aur securing the sealing of the rubber hose The ends can be tied off by means of cord loops 24.

Sometimes it may be desirable to move the probe a little further under the To press the water surface or to adjust lateral deviations from the direction of travel. To do this, it can: ride mechanically, hydraulically or electrically operated control devices be provided, the connecting line for mechanical or electrical actuation can be used for control. With pneumatic control of the probes, the required Compressed air "through the floating rubber hose.
