Die Neuerung betrifft eine Badewanne mit Armstütze, die einerseits ein besonders bequemes Sitzen in der Wanne gestattet und andererseits als Aufstehhilfe dient. Badewannen mit in die Seitenwandung eingeformten Armstützen sind bekannt. Bei den bekannten Gestaltungen sind die Armstützen stets als Mulde in die Seitenwandung eingearbeitet und ir> Richtung auf die Wandung am V'annenende durch eine konvexe Krümmung oder einen Knick abgegrenzt. Diese Gestaltungen entsprechen nicht den anatomischen Bedürfnissen.
