Description

Verfahren zur Herstellung von basischen Ofenauskleidungen 1)oloillit als Baustoff für Wände und Böden von bei hohen Temperaturen arbeitenden Öfen ist bekannt. Bisher wurde durchweg hierfür gekörnter Dolomit verweilclet. Das bei der Zerkleinerung anfallende Mehl wurde verwor- fen, cla es ganz allgemein für unbrauchbar gehalten wurde. Abgesehen von einem ver- einzelten Vorschlag, gekörnten Dolomit mit der Wurfschaufel zum Ausflicken von schad- liaften Stellen bei c.ifen zti benutzen, wird der gekörnte Dolonlit stets in 'Mischung finit an- deren Stoffeil, u11(1 zwar entweder Bindemit- teln, vor allein Teer, oder sinterf:ihi-en @:tof- feil, verwendet. Hiermit ist zun:iclist der Nachteil verhun- den, daß die Herstellung des Baustoffes unter \'erwen#lun-e eines zus:itzlichen Stoffes und eines zusätzlichen Arbeitsganges, nämlich des 'lischens, erfolgen mußte. Weitere Nach- wile des Bindemittelzusatze: bestehen darin. daß eine lange Geit erforderlich ist, bevor die finit dem Bindemittel versehenen Körner (licht gestampft sind. Anschließend muß .dann noch in einem besonderen Arbeitsgang ge- trocknet und gebrannt werden. Schließlich be- steht auch noch die Möglichkeit, daß Verun- reinigungen aus dem Bindemittel in die Schmelze gelangen und diese illin.derwertig machen. Die mit der Verwendung eines sinterfähi- ; geil Zusatzes verbundenen Nachteile sind die Notwendigkeit der hlitverwendung einer Schablone, ferner ungenügende hestibkeit des Ofenteils, weil der Dolornit nur an die Scha- blone geschaufelt und nicht gestampft wird, und schließlich ebenfalls ein ungünstiger Ein- fluß der Zusiitze auf das Schmelzgut und auf die Ilitzebeständigkeit des Doloinits.
