Description
Binders, in particular for fastening wall and floor panels, and processes for their production. The common cement, e.g. B. Portland cement, which is used, among other things, as a binding agent for fastening wall and floor panels, has the disadvantage that it does not adhere well enough to the base and in particular to the back of the panels, which increases the durability the plate coverings suffer.
The binder according to the above invention no longer has this disadvantage. This binding agent, especially for fastening wall and floor panels, is characterized in that it contains a hydraulic binding agent, casein and casein glue.
This binder can be produced, for example, by adding casein in powder form and casein glue, also in powder form, to the hydraulic binder in powder form and grinding this product into a thick, liquid, plastic paste with the addition of water and mixing it well together. Portland cement, for example, can be used as hydraulic binding agent and lactic acid-casein glue as casein glue.
A good mixing ratio of the solid constituents, expressed as a percentage by weight, is, for example, the following: approx. 97% hydraulic binder, approx. 11 / z% casein and approx. 11/2% casein glue.
Asbestos can be added to this mixture, for example, which creates a binding agent that is also particularly suitable for applying a paving slab to a warm surface (e.g. on a fireplace or stove wall).
The addition of casein and casein glue to the hydraulic binding agent delays its setting and increases its durability.
Practical tests have shown that the binding agent according to the invention is extraordinarily superior to conventional cement, for example Portland cement, especially if it is to be used to fasten wall and floor panels.
The binding agent can be applied to the work site ready for use, which eliminates the cumbersome preparatory work that is unavoidable when using cement.
PATENT CLAIMS: I. Binding agent, especially for fastening wall and floor panels, characterized in that it contains a hydraulic binding agent, casein and casein glue.
Il. Process for producing the binding agent according to claim 1, characterized in that the hydraulic binding agent in powder form is mixed with casein in powder form and the casein glue, also in powder form, and these products are rubbed together with the addition of water to form a viscous, plastic paste be mixed.
