Description
Method for producing a hemostatic and wound healing agent The invention is based on the knowledge established through extensive experiments that tanned animal skin fibers as soon as they are placed on bleeding mouths, both show an excellent hemostatic effect. as well as a solid one with the blood Form a mass that isolates the wound from the outside. This causes a wound infection prevented and also achieved a rapid healing process. , The procedure for Production of the hemostasis and wound healing agent according to the invention consists in that animal skin is first tanned and, in the tanned state, in a disinfectant solution is brought. It is then dried and turned into a felt-like mass, i.e. i. a kind of cotton wool, crushed, which is still to be sterilized. One can apply a mass obtained in this way as such directly to the wound to be treated or on a lightly rubberized hydrophilic gauze. Apply as a topping, the whole thing through run a roller device and then sterilize it. The hydrophilic Gauze can pass through a thin, loose-fitting protective strip; are covered and be put on the market in dust-free packaging. It can, but also those Fibers processed into powder, granules, tear-like shreds and in this form to be applied to the wound, - example animal skin is in a tanned state brought into a disinfectant solution, left in this for about z days and then dried .. The skin treated in this way is turned into a felt-like mass, d. i. -a kind of cotton wool, 'crushed and then with a lightly gummed hydrophilic: l, en gauze associated. The felt-like covering will on the other hand with a thin protective blanket, e.g. B. with a strip of paper, loosely covered, the gauze through a roller left, afterwards in a storage container sterilized and put on the market as an antiseptic.
The hemostasis and wound healing agent produced in this way can be in cans or in the form of strips wrapped in a pile in dust-proof packaging on the market to be brought.
