Korrosiönssicheres Dreischichtenrohr Zusatz zum Patent ;36
1.58
Corrosion-proof three-layer pipe Addition to the patent; 36 1.58 The subject of the invention is a three-layer iron or steel pipe. It is made of strip unmaterial, the entire surface of which has previously been pre-coppered or pre-veriuessingt by galvanic means or by a plating process or in a similar way. The inside of the pipe has no butt joint. Such a pipe is already the subject of patent 736 158. The invention is a further development of this method and should therefore be considered as an addition to the main patent 736 158.
In the main patent, a tube with several lobes is used as the basic shape. There (according to FIG. I) the tube has either two tabs or (according to FIG. Q.) Four of them. In the case of the subject matter of the invention, the production is simplified, i.e. one is satisfied with a single cloth, as can be seen in FIG. The sheet steel strip therefore only needs to have a single longitudinal groove and only a single tab needs to be bent. The size of the flap must be so wide that it encircles the entire circumference of the pipe core when it is bent. For this purpose, the pre-copper-plated or pre-brass-plated steel sheet metal strips are deformed in various successive dies or sets of rolls. that, as shown in FIG. i, it has only a single longitudinally extending arcuate depression. It is then folded using the recess in such a way that it results in the entire inner wall or the actual tube shape a and so that only a single pair of lateral flaps b, c is created, the width of which corresponds to the entire circumference of the tube core. For this purpose, the pair of flaps b, c is bent around the point d and around the basic shape a. laid around so far that their ends hit the butt joint e. : in this way a pipe is created from the three layers a, b, c, which has only a single butt joint at c. The ends of the two lobes are welded together. From Fig. Z it can be seen that the inside of the pipe is nowhere. especially not at the joint e, which comes into direct contact with the steel wall, but is encased everywhere with brass or copper. The result is a pipe whose butt joint is not inside the pipe.
