Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Buncllagerschalenhälfte aus einem mit Bleibronze plattiertelSStahlblech Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Bundlagerschalenhälfte mit einer Stahlstützschale und einer an der Lauffläche und am Bund aufplattierten Lagermetallschicht aus einem flachen Stahlstreifen, der mit einer aufgegossenen Bronzeschicht plattiert ist, bei dem der Streifen nach dem rechtwinkligen Umbiegen der Flanschen in Halbzylinderform gebogen wird. Beim Abbiegen des seitlichen Bundes an derartigen flachen Blechstreifen läßt es sich nicht vermeiden, daß die Bleibronze am übergang in den Bund rissig wird, da sie die für das Aasbiegen erforderliche Dehnung nicht aufzunehmen vermag. Es ist bekannt, diese Erscheinung dadurch zu beseitigen, daß man die Bronze vor dem Aasbiegen des Bundes an der Stelle von dem Eisenblech entfernt, wo nachher das Abbiegen vorgenommen wird, so daß am fertigen Lager eine Nut sichtbar ist, welche die Bronze der Lauffläche von derjenigen des seitlichen Bundes trennt. Die Entfernung der Bronze an dieser Stelle erfordert in jedem Falle einen besonderen Arbeitsgang, der eine Verteuerung des Lagers bedeutet.
