Diese Ausführung bringt nur den vollen Erfolg, wenn die Überhöhung des Nabensitzes groß genug gewählt wird; sie hat aber ganz wesentliche fertigungstechnische und konstruktive Nachteile. Man hat auch versucht. durch eine besondere Formgebung der Nabe die aus dem Preßsitz resultierenden zusätzlichen Beanspruchungen zu vermindern bzw. auszugleichen bzw. die Spannungsspitzen an andere Stellen des Nabensitzes zu verlagern.
