Procedure for determining the evasion of sheet piles when driving
and inclinometer for the method. The invention relates to a method of detection
avoiding sheet piles when driving.
It is known that iron sheet piles, caused by earth obstacles,
sometimes evade from the desired direction. One then speaks of a foot
or overhead or from a side slope of the pile wall. The beginning of these deviations
but is very difficult to see, even if the slope protrudes from the ground
Parts of the screed is constantly being plumbed and the amount spent on the individual screeds
Impact work is continuously compared. To find out about the real status of the
To make sure Bohle, individual cells were therefore drilled out of box planks
or rinsed out and subsequently the inclination by lowering the measuring slide
the screed noted. The ram had meanwhile continued to work and the
detected errors had increased accordingly, so that several pass-through planks
had to be switched on.
These disadvantages are compounded by the evasive detection method

Fig.6 den Neigungsmesser
nach Fig.4 in geneigter Lage. Two exemplary embodiments are shown in the drawing. in the
individual figures show: FIG. 1 a part of a screed wall, FIG. 2 an inclinometer
with a rolling disk, Fig. 3 shows the cross-section to Fig. 2, Fig. 4, an inclinometer
with a liquid conductor, FIG. 5 shows a cross-section to FIG. 4. Fig. 6 the inclinometer
according to Figure 4 in an inclined position.
Gegebenenfalls
können weitere Neigungsmesser bei 4 und 5 vorgesehen werden. The last straight pile of a sheet pile wall is denoted by i.

is. 3 shows the location; where the inclinometer is best placed. Possibly
additional inclinometers can be provided at 4 and 5.
In FIGS. 2 and 3, an inclinometer on an enlarged scale

Contacts and the housing 8, 9 establishes the connection. 1o is part of the footbridge
or flange of the screed shown in section.
13, 14, 15 sind in der Röhre i i festeingebaute Kontakte.
plastischen, später erhärteten blasse in seiner Lage gehalten. 17 sind aufgeschweißte
Schutzbleche. In Figures 4, 5 and 6, which illustrate another form of inclinometer, ii is a tube which is partly connected to a liquid electrical conductor 12 (e.g. acidified water) and partly to a non-conductor (e.g. Oil) is filled. 13, 14, 15 are permanently installed contacts in the tube ii. If the screed and thus also the tube inclines, as indicated in FIG. 6, the horizontal surface of the conductor 12 is retained. The cross section of the conductor between the contacts 13 and 14 is significantly larger than the cross section between the contacts. 13 and 15. This changes the resistance of the two sections of the conductor. With known electrical measuring instruments, which are connected by means of an armored cable which is fastened in a plank recess, this change in resistance and thus the inclination can be measured. 16 is part of the board in which the hole 18 has been cut. The inclinometer 11 is introduced into this hole 18 and held in its position by means of a plastic, later hardened pale. 17 are welded-on protective plates.
