filwalzen.
Fig. 3).

felt rollers. A pressure roller 11 suspended in a pendulous manner at the rear end of the plow passes through the pipe 20
Firmly press the soil on the pipe. On a special holding device, comb-like mandrels 22 are arranged so as to be variable in height, which strip off crumbly soil from the trench edges that have remained standing and scatter it on the freshly laid pipe.
The magazined tape is guided on rollers 7-8, which are held on laterally pivotable arms on both sides of the chassis 1 (see FIG. 3).
Fig. 2 shows a plan view of the device: Fig. 3 is a view in the direction of travel. The parts 18 and 19 represent a sighting device in order to be able to adhere exactly to the height of the route on which the pipe is laid.
4 shows a cross section of the shaft 9, in which the band 16 is guided within the channel 15. From this cross-section it can be seen that this shaft is very narrow in the direction of travel in relation to the plow attached to it, whereby the travel resistance is significantly reduced in contrast to known pipe plows, so that much greater plowing depths can be achieved with the same pulling forces and the plowed trenches only become very narrow.
Fig. 5 shows the section of a tube formed by the tube forming device 17, the jacket of which is not cylindrical, but rather with a wedge-shaped fold 23, the longitudinal joint 24 pointing downwards and recesses 25 provided in the fold for the entry or exit of the water are.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for the production and continuous laying of pipe strings in the ground with a wedge-shaped working tool which is arranged on a narrow shaft in the direction of travel, characterized in that the working tool is designed as a deep planer, which has a horizontal cutting surface at its lower end and on its entire front side, including the lower part of the shaft, has a sliding surface which serves to convey the soil material loosened from the planer body towards the surface of the earth.
